I REALLY need to get into some pre-spring cleaning. I like cleaning and LOVE a clean organized home.....but I hate the start if that makes any since at all. Once I start I'm good to go, but starting is what I suck at.
We are having a good friend over on Saturday and he bringing his new girl friend for us to meet, this has inspired me....now I just have to start!

Christmas 2010 just wasn't the same. Don't get me wrong we had a nice Christmas. Paul was great making our tree from Cyprus bows and I made all of gifts this, I love doing that. But we miss our Jake. I know some people think it's crazy to love a pet so much, and they right, but Jake wasn't our pet he was our first son. So it was hard. Gus helped a lot. He watched all of Christmas programs with us
he is a very good boy. Plus he learned all about wrapping presents, but he decided he would rather I just do it since I have thumbs
He also learned about opening gifts and he says that is his new favorite thing in all the world. Paul and I surprised each other by literally buy one another the exact same gift!
It was wayyyyyy funny!! Gus and I gave Paul a shadow box of memories of Jake
He really liked it. Now we are in the year 2011!! Holy Cow!!!!!
Paul wants to know why we don't have flying cars yet and I would really like to put an end to lint...oh and child abuse. Our Elves and Snowmen we made this year
Gus Gus with a new toy!!
Maddie's rag dolls I made her

Our Wedding

The wedding
I can not put into words what this day meant to me. Paul is such an amazing man and I was going to walk down an isle and become his wife. Words do no justice to all that this meant to me, and for the life of me I can not express how much I love him. I've tried to tell others how when I look into his eyes I see mountains rising from the earth, with the bluest sky surrounding their peeks. How I can feel a breeze that refreshes my very soul with all that it needs. Then from his lips comes these words "I adore you Stacey". To know that I would be looking into his eyes and hearing those words for the rest of my life...what an honor, what a blessing, what a man.
The day of the wedding started out with a Paul and I praying. Thanking God for all he had blessed us with, and for the help of all of our friends and family. Paul and I sat together and enjoyed our coffee and each other, knowing that this day would be blessed for us. We both knew that there isn't a wedding that takes place with out a few bumps in the road, but early on we decided that none of those would matter to either of us. All that mattered was that at the end of this day we would be married. Everything else was what we called "fluff and stuff". So when the wind blew some of the decorations over and they broke...so what we would still be getting married. When time looked like it was running to fast and we wouldn't have time to fix the lights on the umbrella over the bar...it didn't matter, we were still going to be married. There was a whole list of little things that must have seemed major to other people because they would send in someone who must have drawn the short stick to tell me. They would say "Stacey, I have to tell you something..." then they would say something like we can't get the lights to work in one section on the house. It didn't matter, because I was going to be married to Paul, with or with out the lights. I understand that some brides have freaked out over things like lights, or even things less important than lights, but did any of those "things" that "fluff and stuff" change the goal of the wedding day? Our goal was to get married, and praise the Lord of heaven and earth, on September 26th, 2009 we received a blessing from above and became Husband and Wife
I hope you enjoy some of our pictures. Some are from before, others are of the ceremony. Thank-you all for your prayers and support. Our wedding was biggest and most blessed moment in my entire life.

Greed

Do people just suck? Its a question that a former youth group student once asked me. I read this and I can't believe the greed. It breaks my heart.
'Robbed Me Blind'
(Aug. 28) – Cancer patient Evelyn Roth wasn't supposed to live. So two relatives took advantage of her dire situation, snapping up all her possessions and selling her home, police and prosecutors said.Roth's niece Kathleen Sue Jingling, 53, and cousin Virginia Ann Kuehn, 66, have been indicted on 35 felonies, according to the The Oregonian newspaper. The women pleaded not guilty at their arraignment this week.Roth's home of 56 years in Portland, Ore. -- gone. The mahogany furniture crafted by her late husband -- gone. Her wedding pictures, her Buick, her grandfather clock, more than $100,000 in savings and investments -- all gone. The trouble began when Roth had surgery in February 2008 for what The Oregonian described as a cancerous growth on her esophagus. After surgery, she fell in her home, was hospitalized and then was sent to a nursing home. That spring, she had radiation treatments for the cancer. And on April 24, she gave Kuehn and Jingling power of attorney. An officer said Jingling later told her the doctor "guaranteed" that Roth was dying. But as Roth recovered, she starting hearing rumors of a "For Sale" sign on her lawn. A former Sunday school student of hers helped start unraveling what happened to her belongings and her money while she was ill.The self-described "stubborn old lady" has surprised authorities with her high spirits, despite her losses, but she told the newspaper she is determined to see her relatives jailed. "They robbed me blind," Roth said. "Everything was for money, just to get money, money, money. That's not the way it should be."
