The Green Inferno

Where Music and Fear Gather for Drinks

I Must Take You Into My Confidence and Warn You!

, ,

Just one more Hammer Horror offering before Halloween, then I think i'll let them rest in peace for a while, todays score is Carlo Martelli's music from The Curse of the Mummy's Tomb.
Treading more Mummy cliches than most Curse is slow paced even by the standards of 60's horror movies and suffers from a truly shabby Mummy that I'm sure no Egyptian ruler alive or dead would own up to being responsible for. Of course it's not all bad, some of the murders are effectively staged and Fred Clark and George Pastell offer splendid performances to offset the lack of horror provided by our cloth wrapped assassin.
