The absence of love is the most abject pain

Here's the incredible Popol Vuh score for Werner Herzog's remake of Murnau's classic Nosferatu, professional lunatic and occasional actor Klaus Kinski portrays the bald Count and spends a lot a time bemoaning the lonliness of his existence in this atmospheric, visually stunning but overlong film. Herzog had problems shooting certain scenes in the Dutch town of Delft as the authorities refused to allow him to unleash 11,000 rats into the streets, can't say I'm surprised.
