One day trip to Kyoto

Yesterday I went to oneday-trip to see the festival of Gion.
It was really hot and it lifted up the spirits of the people for the festival.
The big car that you can see in this picture is called Yamaboko.

After seeing this festival, we went to a restaurant Kikunoi.
It situates on central of Kyoto but I felt as if I were in a mountain. The time passed really slowly and calmly.

Before eating the food, you put your chopsticks into this circle.Then you can escape from evil.
This fish is called Ayu and it is typical food of summer.

This year we're celebrating here in Brazil the Centennial of Japanese Immigration, but i had no opportunity yet to be present in the events.
