America on the Late Show

I've been a fan of the band America since I heard them play in the movie The Last Unicorn. I like their folky/country sound which doesn't pretend to be pop like most "country" music singers and bands these days. They're great summer listening, I even like singing along in the car on the way to work!
Their new CD, Here and Now comes out in four days; I'll be getting it for sure. If you don't know about America, or think they might be something you'd like, they will be on the Late Show with David Letterman this coming Monday, the 15th, performing the song Ride On from their new album! Be sure to watch!
