Multnomah Falls and Mt. Hood

Took a drive up the gorge going east following the Columbia River and took some photo's of the falls in
Late June...........Decided to hike up the 1 mile trail that takes you to the top of the falls...I guess I'm out of shape, it took about 20+ minutes to get to the top....but it is a real steep climb...........

FLOWERS, HERBS, GROWING, HOT PEPPERS ...

HEY THERE...THE WEATHER HERE HAS BEEN JUST BEAUTIFUL...IT'S THE END OF MAY AND IN THE MID 70'S TO LOW 80'S, THE FLOWERS AND THE GARDEN ARE JUST LOVING IT. WE PLANTED 6 DIFFERENT KINDS OF PEPPERS; HABANERO'S, CAYENNE, 2 TYPES OF JALAPENO'S, A HOLY MOLE', AND A CHOCOLATE BELL. THERE ARE TOO MANY TYPES OF TOMATOES TO LIST....WE PLANTED ABOUT 7 DIFFERENT KINDS. BROCCOLI AND GARLIC ARE ABOUT A FOOT TALL...ALSO THERE ARE 2 TYPES OF SQUASH...ZUCHINI AND ACORN...HEAD LETTUCE AND RED LEAF...RADISHES AND CARROTS...ALSO A BIT OF DIFFERENT HERBS; GOLDEN OREGANO, THYME, SPICY OREGANO, SWEET BASIL AND THAI, ALSO A CINNAMON VARIETY. IN ANOTHER COUPLE WEEKS WE'LL PUT IN OUR SWEET CORN STARTS....OH...AND DON'T FORGET THE POTATOES! I STARTED SOME SERANO PEPPERS FROM SEED BUT THEY'RE JUST AND INCH TALL...I THINK THEY'LL DO ALL RIGHT BY THE END OF THE SUMMER.....AND ONE PIMENTO PEPPER JUST TO SEE HOW IT DOES...MAYBE THAT'S 8 KINDS IN ALL......
SO TELL ME ABOUT HOW YOU'RE GARDEN IS DOING!

Well, the rainy season and the breaks in the clouds that produce spurts of sun is here in Oregon. It
seems every time I make plans to get something done outside it starts to rain. I then find something
else to do indoors and I look out the window and the sun is coming back out. Making a game plan has been difficult based on the weather lately. We are starting to get weather in the 60's, finally......
WOW................April 5th, weather somewhere in the low 70's.......and the 6th, we had a high of 76 degrees at the airport,......Just beautiful...
