Practice, practice practice. I've been using a metronome to play along with. Amazing how many times i found myself out of tempo. So today I'm focussed on timing. Timing is everything! Later today I'll be posting some pics of my studio. Let the music play. Play on!

Laid some tracs down, recorded some vocals last night. Reading up on compressors. Busy. The weather in Spokane is kinda cool today, but the weather is just fine in my studio. Which is where I'll be all day. Gotta heavey metal sound going today. Test driving some Line-6 software. POD Farm. Cool stuff. Well I'll be back.

This blog is to everyone out there. What is going on in your part of the world? I want to meet as many people in this world as I can. I will gladly share what I do and what's going on here. It looks as though we are friends now. Thank you; I am grateful. Myself, I'm a singer/songwriter/musician and a caregiver (to help pay the bills). I live in Spokane, Washington, United States. Music is my passion. It is great that we can reach people half way around the world and share our stories. Learning what is going on in your part of the world and mine, and finding that common thread that binds us altogether in a good way. After all we are all part of the Human Family! No? I look forward to hearing from you, and about the Ukraine and Japan. Maybe corroborate on some music sometime? I can share what is going on in America. Send some photos, music clips, whatever. New to the community and I just want to say Hi to everyone. I like to talk about music and recording mostly but I'm open to it all. So post me a blog and I will post one back.
And just to get things started I have a question for all you audio engineers or recording aficionados. What is your opinion on recording software? Which one do you like and why?
