About me

Earlier today I saw a large spider. I thought, at first, that it was a brown recluse. Then I realized two things, one, that I was in the Pacific Northwest, significantly far from where it lives and two, I was basing that assumption on the fact that it was brown. Thinking quickly, I sprung into action! This consisted of balancing on a couch cushion with a piece of cardboard and a cup to quickly scoop it into the cup. It was a simple process that took roughly 20 minutes, most of which was me thinking there was a better way to do it. There wasn't. After this it took me roughly 5 hours (which were spent staring a this screen) to decide whether to flush it down the toilet. I might have crushed it, but then I realize the thought of how it would likely feel to crush an exoskeleton that large would make me involuntarily shudder before I actually did it, allowing its escape. By the time I decided to kill it, it had suffocated.
