.
1. A clothes washer and shower/bath all in one. You lay down in a sensory deprivation tank, fully clothed, after chosing the settings. An ultrasonic device washes and sanitizes you and your clothes- wait! -wait!
.Heres the best part!
.While you sleep!
I'm having a little trouble with the spin/rinse cycle.
.
2. A Teleporter. Oh,please Dear Lord, so badly do I need one of these! Does my soul go along for the ride? Hmmm...
.
3. A food/drink replicator. Do not tell me that spam comes in different flavors. Do not mention Soylent Green. I will barf. On you.
.
4. A new and improved version of Opera Mini[/b] that has a U.I. more like a computer. Where you can scroll left, right,up or down on a page and zoom in on what you want to see. All while staying logged in to the site you're at.
Fantasy?
Perhaps someday....
.4 Things I wish had never been invented:
.
1. Snooze alarms. I now have 5+ alarm clocks with this diabolical feature. None of them work anymore. That happens when you jerk them up by the wires and throw them against the wall. My next step is a old time police siren on the telephone pole. that should make me a "hit" with the neigbors,eh?
.
2. Voice prompts."press one for English, press two for..." Jesus.
.
3. Remote control t.v. sets: I cannot think of anything more benignly useless... Get up and change the damn channel!
.
4. Weapons of destruction. Including, but not limited to:I.E.D.s, landmines nuclear weapons and chemical/biological agents. Stop the killing! Put it back in the 'hood, where it belongs.
.
.Thankyou, and good day.

.
.OK, people, freakshows over! Remember, check out Marts blog here at Opera,he's got some cool stories. Leave a comment, if yot want. His real name is Theo.
Peace, y'all!

The all-in-one wash is a popular choice so far - maybe it could be combined with the teleporter so you arrive fresh.
We never had a remote for years - now all the TVs hide the buttons so you have to use it for almost every function. Of course, now my dad's 78 the remote is a godsend.
That new version of Opera Mini is pure science fiction. It won't happen in my lifetime

. I installed a radio and a Sirius in one of the supervisors cars. Not only did the Sirius come with a remote, the radio had one, too!

question: how were you able to put you children (in their younger years) to bed without the fuss?

Either I'd play guitar with her on the waterbed- I'd set up a gentle rocking motion. She'd be out usually, like a light. Or, I'd shut the lights in the bedroom off, put some soft Jazz or Classical on the stereo, and give her the lightest of backrubs- back tickles really- with my fingertips. Again, she'd be
