Harry Scrivenharrytheman Tuesday, May 3, 2011 9:32:42 PM

Actually, it does look a bit disturbing.

H82typ Tuesday, May 3, 2011 10:24:45 PM

@ Mart: lol

@ Carol: Hey! No fainting except for beastiality photos! lol

@ Harry: Yeah. Almost like desecration of an icon type of disturbing.

H82typ Tuesday, May 3, 2011 10:32:09 PM

I got this as an MMS. When I first saw it, I thought, 'cool!' Then I started thinking... this is not how I want my country to be known world-wide. Yeah, we may have tripped occasionally, but, Jesus! We're not bloodthirsty as a whole, you know.
I have serious misgivings about how this all went down. sad

Dacotah Wednesday, May 4, 2011 1:09:16 AM

I love Lady Liberty and don't want to think of her in such a situation.

I know what you mean. Acknowledging this man is capable of great evil is one thing, and I can see how the victims of 9/11 must have felt a huge emotional release, but gathering in the streets to celebrate the death of a human being?

I don't know, something's wrong with this picture.

And the one above p

H82typ Wednesday, May 4, 2011 2:46:48 AM

Thanks for the visit, y'all!
Ah! My favourite Moral Compass! How are you, Mags? *hug* happy
*hug* @ you,too, Carol! smile
cheers Hi,Dave! Even if he was tried in absentia, and sentenced to death (an abhorrent practice in it self) it'd be more just than what went down. The execution of this man makes us no better than him, imho.

Peterpman45 Wednesday, May 4, 2011 10:43:41 AM

Is that the real Lady or the one in front of the casino?

H82typ Wednesday, May 4, 2011 10:51:18 AM

I have no clue, Peter. Not that it'd matter. It doesn't look like a photo of the one in NY, though, does it?

Peterpman45 Wednesday, May 4, 2011 11:51:46 AM

I'm glad that the majority (on both sides) are glad that this episode has come to an end. There will always be radicals who choose to throw fuel on a burnt out fire for whatever reason.

Bad WolfCois Wednesday, May 4, 2011 12:01:08 PM

why the hell did I think of Lord Of The Flies?

H82typ Wednesday, May 4, 2011 1:21:38 PM

The eclipsing of the torch by what's-his-names head, maybe? (I read the book 40 years ago,so...)

Mad Scientistqlue Thursday, May 5, 2011 2:09:52 PM

Bad WolfCois Thursday, May 5, 2011 2:24:27 PM

H82typ Thursday, May 5, 2011 3:00:29 PM

Familiar with torches, are you? p

Mad Scientistqlue Friday, May 6, 2011 12:19:14 AM

The villagers usually chase him with pitchforks and torches. rolleyes.
It must be a hard life being a werewolf. awww.

H82typ Friday, May 6, 2011 1:43:54 AM

D'ya think? sherlock

Bad WolfCois Friday, May 6, 2011 5:39:08 AM

not really.. left except when some big rabid dog tears the throat off a little girl then we get blamed. awww.
And pissing outdoors in winter is a bitch.. *nods*

Rickcwbywz Friday, May 6, 2011 6:44:35 AM

I had an eerie feeling when I saw all the celebrating. It brought back the same feelings I had watching the Muslims celebrating in the streets after 9/11. I was hoping we would have more class.

Bad WolfCois Friday, May 6, 2011 7:19:39 AM

monkey see, monkey do moment eh.. whistle

H82typ Friday, May 6, 2011 10:02:09 AM

Yeah, Rick. I don't care that he's gone. I don't hate how it went down. (how many versions are there now?) If you're going to lie, make it believable, you know. Thanks for stopping by. smile

@ Cois: Pissing outside in the Winter is always a bitch. *dips rag in kerosene, wraps it around a tree branch, lights it with a Zippo and holds it aloft* devil

Reminds me of the joke going around, a Navy Seal walks into a bar and orders a bin laden.

The bartender says I dont know how to make that.

The Seal says its easy, two shots and a splash of water.

H82typ Monday, May 9, 2011 11:11:24 PM

*nods* The funny thing is, I saw this on someone elses phone, and asked them to send it to me. Thennn I started thinking, is this what Lady Liberty is all about? awww And so on and so forth.

leenalesswoodsend Tuesday, May 10, 2011 2:25:15 AM

Yeah, come on guys. Wolves get an undeserved bad press. They're always well behaved when I drive through the safari park at Longleat.

Bad WolfCois Wednesday, May 18, 2011 4:43:48 PM

leenalesswoodsend Thursday, May 19, 2011 6:28:21 PM

Speaking of wolves... You know my doggy Buka? He was my siezure alert dog, and a Siberian Husky who looked like a wolf, very smart and beautiful... Last winter he became very ill with diabetes, and there was nothing the veterinarian could do for him. In just a few months he passed sad Then, we moved to Virginia for a few months, and Bear, my beloved Akita, was diagnosed with a aggressive bone cancer and died shortly after sad I miss my baby boyyyys :'(

Sorry to bring it down... Buka and Bear were amazing guys smile great hunters, very wolflike !

H82typ Thursday, May 19, 2011 8:48:47 PM

rip Buka and Bear. Both Good Dogs. pssst they'll be waiting for you, when you cross over, Leena. *hug*

leenalesswoodsend Friday, May 20, 2011 4:27:21 AM

Thanks Dennis smile

H82typ Friday, May 20, 2011 1:16:23 PM

Bad WolfCois Sunday, May 22, 2011 5:23:45 PM

i've always wanted a husky but our weather is way too hot for long hair breeds really..
I miss my doggy too sad

H82typ Sunday, May 22, 2011 10:22:31 PM

I totally understand, Cois. Our animals are all waiting for us to cross over. Mine would sleep under my parents bed. Sometimes, for no reason, she would start thumping her tail - it'd hit the bed, then the floor. Repeatedly. Apparently she was dreaming. lol

After she had a stroke, and passed away, for the week after she died I'd hear this thump-thump. Thump-thump. bigeyes just as I was falling off to sleep. I think she was trying to tell me (at least) that she was ok. happy cheers to yours, and Leenas, and my pets!

leenalesswoodsend Monday, May 23, 2011 2:59:04 AM

Yes cheers to them all! For the many happy memories they left us with smile

How odd you should mention that story Dennis! My mother's doggie Cindy all week has been sleeping with me, and the other morning the thump-thump-thump like you say woke me up too! She too, is a dream wagger!! lol The little porkchop was fast asleep and as happy as can be!!!

H82typ Monday, May 23, 2011 3:16:27 AM

lol My dog, "Lady", would start 'thump-thump' about 10 minutes before my dad would come home. I think she heard the car, and she'd wake up 'thump-thump' then 'thumpthumpthump...' lol

Peterpman45 Monday, May 23, 2011 9:29:31 AM

I once had a cat that used to jump up on my bed in the morning, look for a comfortable spot next to my feet and fall asleep.
After she had passed away I could still feel her doing the same for months. bigsmile

Deke Tuesday, May 24, 2011 10:24:53 PM

Yeah. I get that. We definitely have a ghost cat. I even see it out of the corner of my eyes sometimes.

Sniff...

...And always stand with your back to the wind (As I soon discovered, standing on an almost deserted old wartime fort in the middle of a kinda angry ocean. It had toilets, but it seemed a little sacrilegious to use them).

Mad Scientistqlue Saturday, June 25, 2011 7:04:00 AM

sometimes I still feel my puppydawg curling up at my feet. awww.

H82typ Monday, June 27, 2011 5:23:45 AM

That's where he (or she) liked to be best, my friend... smile

musebarefoot_muse Sunday, July 24, 2011 1:42:32 AM

It's disturbing. The two just don't go together.

H82typ Sunday, July 24, 2011 4:45:37 AM

Exactly. sad

billsofat Tuesday, October 11, 2011 1:35:22 AM

Well I wouldn't exactly say disturbing (well maybe) but it's true that they don't go together
