Gusto nako ipaambit sa inyo ang Ebanghelyo karun adlawa.
Ang Ebanghelyo karun nagsulti batok sa Eukaristiya.
Ang Eukaristiya ka yang “paghinumdum sa pagkamatay og pagkabanhaw” sa atong Ginoo. Sa uban pasabot mao kini ang himong dala sa paskal na misteryo ni Jesu Kristo.
Sa katapusang panihapon kauban ang mga disipulo, si jesu Kristo mao ang nagtukod sa sacramento sa altar (Eukaristia) sa iyang pag-ingon: “Dawata ninuo kini, kay mao kini ang lawas og dugo sa atong kasabutan” og siya pa miingon “buhata kini sa akong hadumanan”
Sa akong gi-ingon ganina ang Eukaristiya mao ang paghinumdum sa kamatayon og pagkabahaw sa atong Ginoo. Kay si kristo mao ang nagsaulog sa una nga misa o (Eukaristiya) kauban iyang mga disipulo atong panihapon. Ang Ginoong Jesu Kristo pud may. Kordero sa Diyos as pagdawat niya sa kamatayon aron pagluwas sa atong mga sala og sa ikatulong adlaw nabanhaw aron kita maluwas.
Kung kinsa man ang nagtuo na si Kristo amatay apan mabanhaw katong tawhana mabuhi pay usab uban ni Kristo. Ang Eukarisriya ay pasalamat og pirakataas na porma sa pag-ampo sa atong Ginoo. Bago gikuha ni Jesus ang pan og bino nagpasalamat usa suya sa Ginoo ang padayon “Mao kini akong lawas, mao kini akong dugo.”
Karon, ang pari ang nagpadayon sa gibuhat ni Jesus sa Eukristya. Ang pari usab nagbatbat sa mga pulong ni Jesus sa pagingon “Mao kini akong lawas og maokini akong dugo” busa ang tinapay og bino manimo ng lawas og dugo ni Jesu Kristo.
Busa kong kita mo tambong sa misa, nitambong kita sa pagdawat sa lawas og dugo ni Jesu Kristo.
Sa pagdawat nato sa pagkalawat, nadawat pud nato ang tibuok na lawas sa Ginoong Jesu Kristo.
Sa katapusan, ang pangutana para sa atoa?
Unsa kadako ang atong paghigugma sa Eukaristiya?
Unsa ka importante kini sa atong kinabuhi?

Dear Brother and sister!
I’d like to share with you about the Gospel today.
Today’s Gospel talks about the Eucharist.
The Eucharist is as “the memorial of the Death and Resurrection” of the Lord. In other words, the Eucharist is as the re-enactment of the Paschal Mystery of Jesus Christ.
In the last supper with His disciples, Jesus Himself established the Sacrament of the Altar (Eucharist) by saying: “Take this, it is my body and this is my blood, the blood of the covenant, which is to be poured out for many”.
And lastly He said: “Do this in memory of me”.
So, as I said above that the Eucharist is as “the memorial of the Death and Resurrection” of the Lord, because that Jesus Himself celebrated the first Holy Mass (or Holy Eucharist) with His disciples in the last supper. And He was the sacrificed Lamb. Specially, He accepted to be put to the death for our sins. And the thirst day, He rose from the death in order to save us.
So, if anyone believes in Jesus’ death and Resurrection the he/she will also be risen with Him.
The Eucharist is also the thanksgiving and the highest form of prayer with God. We can see, before Jesus took the bread and the cup of wine, He prayed with His Father and gave thanks to Him (the Father) and said: “This is my body and this is my blood”.
Now, the priests reenact what Jesus did before in the Eucharist. The priests also repeat the words like Jesus by saying: “this is my body and this is my blood” and so on. Then the bread and wine on the Altar are become the truly body and blood of Jesus Christ.
Lastly, the question for us all that how much love that we have for the Eucharist?
How important is the Eucharist for us?
Trust in God and He will save you. Amen.
