Psalmists catches my attention about his attitude & hunger towards the heavenly education system. He also expresses his desire to know the word, way & paths of God. Today's Church needs this kind of attitude towards God, the Church needs to have a personal intimate relationship with God & talk to Him face to face & make it personal with God.
"Shew me thy ways, O LORD; teach me thy paths." (Psalm 25:4). He approaches God & puts his request on the table, without any doubt or hesitation.
"Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day." (Psalm 25:5). He knows that he in darkness & only the truth of God is light to his path & now he goes an extra mile looking for the truth. God likes the attitude of a hungry soul that seeks Him & His rightousness. He tells God for how long he is willing to wait, in actual fact he tells God it does not matter how long it takes even if it takes the whole day, he will wait.
"Teach me thy way, O LORD; I will walk in thy truth: unite my heart to fear thy name." (Psalm 86:11). He makes God aware of what he will do when he receives the truth. He is not just looking for the ways of God but he promises that he will walk, live & practice God's truth, not on temporal instances but as a matter of fact his everyday life.
"Teach me, O LORD, the way of thy statutes; and I shall keep it unto the end." (Psalm 119:33). Now once again he promises God how far he wants to go for God & His ways. He wants to go to God's word to the end, he understands that education is not easy ride but he is willing to go as far as the end for God.
"The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want." (Psalm 23:1). Having God as a sherpherd the psalmist now declares who his sherped is, he declares who his Rabbi is the God of Heaven, Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the First born among the dead, who conquered death & took the keys of hell & death. He is King of Glory, the Prince of Peace.
The script is quite plain but it has got power & a question.
How far are you willing to go for God? How personal is your relationship with God? How much of the truth you hungry to know & practise? How much do you desire to enrol for the heavenly education curriculum? Is God your partime or eternal Rabbi? How much are you willing to go through for God & His rightousness?
For how long are you willing to wait for God?
I pray this script helps you to go more hungry for God & all His rightousness, I pray that it keeps you on your toes for the teachings of God & I pray that you have the attitude of the psalmists towards Rabbi Jesus.
In closing. Without God you are hopeless, faithless & senseless. In God everything holds together. God is our hope, faith, sense, life, light, truth, breath, food, success, strength, might & eternity. Wisdom is from God & God is the way, truth & life. You can never know the truth if you do not know Jesus, you can never walk the way if you reject Jesus & you can never expirience life without Jesus. Life on earth is not even a smallest peice of the life you are going to have in heave, you got to wait on God to receive from Him.
God Bless.
