Servants of the Living God.
"And I say also to you, That you are Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. " (Matthew 16:18).
"Therefore whosoever hears these sayings of mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man, which build his house upon a rock And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: " (Matthew 7:24-26).
Memorise: "He only is my rock and my salvation; he is my defence; I shall not be greatly moved." (Psalm 62:2).
Meditation: Jesus Christ is our rock and salvation. The day we surrenderd our Lives to the only begotten of the Father. He spoke life in our death and we rose with Him and He built us upon a Rock (Himself) and promised that no gates of hades shall prevail against you Church. The devil, his demons, his curses, his temptations, his problems, his sicknesess, his lies, his carnality, his darkness, his foolishness, his pride, his witchcraft, his hell, his principalities and all that he comes with shall never prevail against us. This is what we should know with our hearts and soul. He is not man that He should lie. He promises are Yes and Amen.
This does not mean the devil will just sit back, it actually warms him up to come with full force but when the enemy comes like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him (Isaiah 59v19b). The devil is a loser and we are made more than conquerers through Him that loved us (Romans 8v37). Indeed no weapon formed against us shall be able to prosper and every tougne that shall stand against us in judgement we shall condemn (Isaiah 54v17).
We need to apply the word of God in our lives daily because For word of God is Living and Powerful(Hebrews 4v12a). We need to beleive it and live it. Indeed it is living everyday in our lives, it is powerful, it stands for us and protects us then we know that the rain descended as storms, and the floods came like tsunami, and the winds blew like tornados, and beat upon that house like huge rocks; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. And every one that heares these sayings of mine, and does them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: "
Sand is not solid. Let us be that Church that Jesus speaks about, let us be rooted in Christ then we know that storms, situations and problems will come but not to kill us but to makes us even stronger, for the Holy Spirit is with us and under the Shadow of His we are safe. Jesus reminds us that only if we hear and do what He tells us, He will liken us to a wise man. Wisdom is from God. Let us hear and do as the Holy Spirit guides us.
Then we can declare that He only is my rock and my salvation; he is my defence; I shall not be greatly moved.
