Playing Hard To Get

Being Hard To Get - Kelisha G Ferdinands March 5th 2012

I'm not Easy but Hard to Get,
Yes Full Trust & Loyalty so You Won't Have Me Just Yet,

Can You Withstand My Love Test,
So We Will Have each other at our Best,

I Need a man that Likes a Challenge,
So He can show Me His Strength of Dragons Tallons,

& Doesn't Mind getting Their Hands Dirty,
As after the Household Chores We Can't Wait to get Down & Naughty,

I Need to Meet with a Mind that is on the Same Intellectual Page,
& Won't be Under the Thumb Love His Independance & Freedom & not Be Locked in a Cage,

They Shall Have a Passion for Life & Common Interests,
& Doesn't Mind Sometimes the Role of Slaved S&M & being under My Arrest,

A Tall Dark Handsome Man & Someone Mysterious,
As I don't want to Know Everything as I Like a bit of Mystique & isn't there Matters of Life more serious,

Talking For Hours on End til We Chat all Night & Long Walks Along the Beach,
Ooohh I Love a Man with Book Smarts but Yet Wisdom & Magic that I can still Teach,

A Man Who Likes a Thrill & Doesn't Mind Taking Risks,
& Been Naughty & Risky in Public & When no 1's looking Loves being Romantically Sick.

So Ladies If Your Enjoying Your Playfull Wild Fill,
What a Shame Your Missing Out as Times like these You Don't Need Yellow Rubber Duckies & all You need is the Pill,

As How Will You Know If You've Met that Special One,
As the Opportunity Will Slip Through Your fingers & Your Heart Will Die with the Setting Sun.

Cover Me In Sunset ...

, , , ...

Photobucket.

Cover me in Sunset,
let me feel its orange glow
as I pose in shades of color
and I take a tan real slow.
Show me all that gold,
poured into the sea,
as if God dipped a pen for me.

I want to be there when the orb
sends me its radiance to absorb.
I want to lift my arms on high
and watch the blazing ruby die,
its iridescent flame all spread
along the ocean's sapphire head.

Castles....

, , , ...

The sun was setting as we sailed
towards the beckoning open sea,
past towers on the river side
all lined along the estuary.

I let my mind go wandering
and suddenly, it seemed to me,
that what I saw all shining there
were castles from antiquity.

The Universe has ebb and flow ...

Photobucket
In a quiet place we sit,
my soul and I,
reaching for the stars,
we touch an endless sky.

In a quiet place we sit,
my soul and me,
quest takes us
through ubiquity.

The Universe has
ebb and Flow,
the “why?” or “who?”
no one shall know,
yet teacher and scholar
all aspire to be
conduit of the Voice
that made Eternity.

The Universe has
ebb and flow,
the “why?” or “who?”,
no one shall know,
except the Architect
who made it so.

In a silent place we stay,
that which is I, myself, and me,
while all the eons pass away,
dust unto dust, in a star filled sea.

I saw the Grackle stare at me ...

, , , ...

In the branches of a tree
a Cuban Grackle stared at me.
Perhaps I only thought it did
as there it perched on emerald lid.

Its eyes were bright, its cobalt sheen
an iridescent blue black screen,
all feathers slicked in silken coal
dug from midnight's cavernous hole.

In the branches of a tree
I saw the Grackle stare at me.
Perhaps I only thought it did
as there it perched on emerald lid.
