A hearty congratulations to the winners of the 2005th Koufax Awards. Among the distinguished awardees is Paul Z. Myers for Best Expert Blog. PZ Myers is a biologist and professor at University of Minnesota, Morris. His blog, Pharyngula, is consistently the most read science blog in the web. He is also a contributor in the Talk Origins Archives website and the Panda's Thumb blog. He was also a moderator in the Evolution/Creation forum in the Internet Infidels Discussion Forums (where I first encountered his wit and intelligence), where he pounces on hapless and ignorant creationists. He is also a staunch defender of pluralism in evolutionary biology. For that, he gets my two thumbs up.
