While perusing Blog Explosion again, I came across another instance of ignorance from another rightwing nutjob:



How many errors did you catch? I humbly submitted this comment on that blog:

Does the image maker mean Venus and Earth? And perhaps greenhouse effect rather than global warming? There can be no greenhouse effect in Mars, it has a negligible atmosphere. Also, by the same logic used in that image, if the common denominator is the Sun, shouldn’t we expect the other planets to exhibit global war… oops, greenhouse effect? The common denominator would be the presence of an abundance of greenhouse gases like carbon dioxide.

Silly me, I learned too much science to be swayed by ignorant wingnut propaganda.

I wonder, is this ignorance an effect of the Republican war against science.
