Hopeful new rig

I'm thinking of upgrading my rig and here's an offer I got from a local merchant:

Do you think I can live with this setup for the next 5 years? I don't play that many games, but I do play the graphics-intensive ones. This CPU might run Vista Home Premium (if I can afford it), otherwise it's XP 64 and Xubuntu.
Feel free to offer other suggestions, though my budget maxes at USD850. Since I live in the Philippines, the prices may be higher than SRPs in other countries.

- Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 Processor
- Intel BLKD946GZISSL Motherboard
- Seagate Barracuda 160GB SATA Hard Drive
- Inno3D GF7600GT Graphics Card
- Kingston 1GB DDR2 PC667 Memory Card (2 pcs)

Double the RAM. Go for a 120 GB HDD if you need to save a little money.
Vindows Wista has some nice bells and whistles, but runs like a typical bloated M$ OS (slow) If you want very similar features and a screaming fast OS, check out SLED10 (Suse Linux Enterprise Desktop 10), and they had the file/desktop management GUI first. Comes bundled with Novell's version of Open Office which is more compatible to MS Office than the Open Source version. All this for $50. Next version, out in late June (did I mention the $50 buys a year of upgrades and patches?) includes XEN, a Virtual Machine Host so you can run Windows OS inside your LINUX desktop. I don't work for Novell, by the way. This is an unsolicited opinion. I just went to a Linux Workshop and a Vista product roll-out, and I was more impressed by Novell Linux.
