In China, we *do* have the right to demonstrate. However, for some reason, we don't use this right often. Recently, there was one case when people use it, to protect our dog friends.

As you may know, there is a policy here that allow only one child per family. The government trys to kill the Chinese word for "brother","sister" and "cousin". And now, the Beijing government expand this principle to dogs raising. It is enforcing a 2003 regulation which don't allow a family raise two dogs, and the lonely dog can't grow up to 35cm(14 inches). The policy are searching for dogs above 35 cm. People are saying the dogs are killed by policy. But obviously, nobody have evidence.

Dog raisers are unhappy with the enforcement. The discuss it on the Internet, and decide to hold a protest before Beijing Zoom. Here comes the pictures.
