ASCII Art

krzychoocpp just made a new Widget for creating ASCII art. It's cool if you want a funky signature for your mail or forum posts. The number of font choices are incredible, though you might want to check out the full website to find which font you like best.

IE 7.0 to ship with ClearType enabled

I just installed IE 7 (2. beta) on my new laptop, it automatically subsribed me to their development blog, and there I came across this post, where Microsoft states that ClearType, or subpixel font-hinting, is improving reading speed as well as reading comprehension.

As a long time ClearType advocate, I am glad they made this decision.
