Finally Google decided to let users access gMail with IMAP, which means you can work directly on the server instead of downloading and constantly syncing, as you had to with POP3. Using the latest beta (I'm courageous) of Opera, this works almost flawlessly. There are two things to look out for:

• Mail that exist in multiple IMAP folders somehow displays twice in your "Unread" folder
  
• You can't use filters to move things around in your IMAP folders
  
• The IMAP folders takes up a bit of space in your sidebar
  

Especially the second point is a bit annoying, because it either means you'll need to configure all filters on your gMail account, or manually move the mail around. Crossing my fingers for even better IMAP support!
