Finally I am able to write this in the comfort of my own home. Yesterday, the friendly broadband cableguy decided it was finally our turn to get it installed. So after four months of waiting, he came, moved one tiny copper wire from one place to another, and that was it.

Part of me wanted to beat up this representative of the extremely slow broadband company, but my feelings of joy and relief prevented me from taking a stab at him. This is a time of anti-climax though - the Internet is slightly less great than what I remembered it to be. Tomorrow Hannah will be back from France, so then it's back to the kitchen for me.
