Ah, very good quotes. I especially like this part of the first quote:

"...Design is so simple, that's why it is so complicated".

He´s completely right! The best designs are usually the simple ones; the easiest approach to a design is the one which works better in most cases. But it´s so difficult to "think simple"!!!!!

Sure. Tell that to all those artists-turned-web designers who haven't yet figured out they can't control the user's browser.

That, and a stupid mentality that "if it's too simple, the customer will think he's not getting enough for his money". And for many customers it's true. The question is, why are some professionals so afraid to refuse troublesome customers? The fourth of fifth time, you can smell them from the door.
