I like that too. Make your home a living happening. I do that sometimes.
At the moment I collect balls of various sizes nd colours and arrange them, here and there in the appartment. Don´t know why...just like to look at them. Did it years ago when I had a garden. I live in a flat now. I collected stones in the wood and painted them in very sharp colours and placed them all over the garden. It´s was like my stones communicated with the surrounding nature. Fun it was

I also do stuff like that at home. I have a really nice table, with a glass on top, and I make collages with photos and paper cuttings to put below. It´s fun, and makes the object, in this case the table, completely personal, and different.
I can imagine all those coloured stones in you garden.. must have looked wonderful!!!!

I remember an interview with an artist (can´t remember who it was)I read in some magazine, and he had a lovely garden where all the tree trunks where painted in different colours and patterns... it was BEAUTIFUL!!!!!

The table idea is great!!
The stones in my garden was perfect. My kids always had a job freshen up the paint every spring. Rearrangeing them and finding new ones

I´m not sure we could have painted the tree trunks. We had a lot of deers rubbing their bodies and antlers against the trunks

I was actually talking with my husband about this the other day, and I told him I would love to have something like this in our living room... he said he thought I was crazy...
