This is an interesting social project: The Micro-coasts situated in Vinaroz, in the Mediterranean coast, between Valencia and Barcelona. This rocky part of the coast has been completely transformed with this new project by Guallart Architects, turning it into a social space. Here is a beautiful and inspiring project winner of a housing competition in Madrid. Designed by J.A.C. y Asociados, Arquitectura.
Simple, imaginative, modern, fun... and a very interesting use of colour and material in architecture.
I would love to live in one of these flats!!!!

Expo Zaragoza 2008

agua, exposicion, arte, art ...

The International Expo "Water and Sustainable Development", takes place in Zaragoza until the 14th september.
There´s lots of events, shows, concerts and exhibitions going on, and it looks really fun. I plan to visit hopefully this summer. Until then, I leave you a selection of images from some of the pavilions. Hope you like them!

My favourite is the Bridge over the River Ebro, designed by the Iraqi architect Zaha Hadid, the first woman to win the Pritzker Architecture Prize.... beautiful, isn´t it?
