Shopping
Krazy Daze are here again! Every year many of the stores in town have really good sales for 3 days to clear out old and summer merchandise to make room for fall/winter merchandise. This is when I begin Christmas shopping. I like to do a little at a time so it's not so much time and money all at once.

Hi Opera Gang!
I hope everyone had a fabulous weekend!!
Mine was ok, would have been better if I had gotten my meds refilled correctly before the pharmacy closed for the weekend. 2.5 days with no fibro meds 
bad move on my part.
It's all straightened out now after my trip to see Dr. Pokypants this morning. I'm starting to feel better already.
Over the weekend Hermit and I watched "Twilight". It was good, but I think I would have enjoyed it more if I hadn't read the book. I kept catching myself thinking, "they skipped this..." and "that's not the way the book went...". I think the second part will be better though, it comes out in September. I had wierd vampire dreams but not nightmares. 
The dogs and I had a nice nap this afternoon. I woke up to my phone ringing and I had poor Magnus in a serious grip like I was holding a teddy bear! He didn't seem to mind as he had his legs wrapped around my arms. He was sharing my pillow. Sweety boy.
I'm getting lots of compliments on my new purse from Peru. It's very handy. This week is "Krazy Daze" here, where many of the stores in town put things on sale really cheap to clear merchandise out for new fall/winter items. I usually begin my Christmas shopping during this time but I am not sure I will get around to it this year. I try to buy gifts from now till Christmas so it's not so much to do (and pay) all at once. Who knows, maybe I will get motivated by Thursday (when the sales begin). Mom, MIL -- care to come and shop? 
The weather is cooler. That is nice. [blah blah (gripe about fibro & weather) blah blah] I spent some time outdoors with the dogs yesterday and got a bunch of mosquito bites. Itchy! I think it's going to rain some. We are still waiting on our insurance to send us a check for our new roof. Hopefully it will arrive soon. I'm ready to get that over with. I'm not sure what to do the day of the roofing. That will drive the dogs crazy so I should probably get them out of the house for a while. Maybe we'll head to the park for a long, slow walk. Any ideas anyone?

My, you are probably wondering where on Earth I've been!
Right here!
I haven't been doing much (explaining the lack of entries) as it's still too hot. It did storm last night and cool us off a bit. yay! I hear rumor it's supposed to gradually cool off and be a lot nicer next week. 
The dogs and I have been doing our usual things. Hermit has a new Playstation 3 (bday gift) so he's been endlessly entertained by it. I've finished the first "Twilight" book and was surprised at how much I enjoyed it. It wasn't anything like I expected. I am well on my way through the second book now. After I read it I will probably rent the movie. 
The fibro is not releasing it's grip, even for the warm, usually my best months, summer days. I seem to have traded old symptoms for new ones. *sigh* I was playing on FB yesterday and did a thing that is like a fortune that tells God's message for you. Mine was:

Yes, even the parts that hurt, even the ones that are feeling disease right now. It's alright to love what is in pain. More than alright, that's exactly where your love is needed the most. I thought so. Very neat though.
