Welcome to my blog, settle in, have a look about, leave a comment or two....

Thanks! You ROCK!!

For some reason I'm getting crap from people for being selective of who I add as a friend. It's on my About page, but I'll say it again. I enjoy keeping up with my Opera pals, so I will not add you unless you hang around. I do not see the point in having 400 friends on my list that I know nothing about.
Got it? Got it!

Video!

I'm sure you will not at all be surprised to see me doing this. p:

I was SO impressed with the equine rescue that I decided to plug it! :D

If you are looking to adopt a rescue horse and have the means to come to (or already live here) Oklahoma, I HIGHLY recommend Horse Feathers Equine Rescue in Guthrie. The property and it's residents were very well kept. All the horses were obviously well fed and cared for, plus it was easy to see each had been rehabilitated (if necessary), brought back to optimum health, and worked with to make sure they have good manners. Some are even sent to a professional trainer for saddle training. They were all so curious and friendly! The herd of about 7 horses in the pasture I walked into swarmed me, nosily sniffing and seeing who I was and what I'd brought for them to snack on.

This is a cute video introducing many of the equine residents. Marita is the very first horse it shows, but don't blink or you'll miss her! She is also in the middle of your screen right after "Run, Forrest, Run" begins. Look for her blaze. It shows how nosy and friendly they all are though. They are all great horses. :D

My new mare, Marita is about 50 seconds into this video, right after the words "the rest of the herd gets curious" (they are looking at a water sprinkler put out to keep them cool on a hot day). She is in the middle of the screen, look for her narrow blaze (white mark running down the length of her face). The rest are other horses on the property, but mostly I'm just showing off mine
