Smother Me

Good Morning all!

I'm feeling more optimistic today. yey! :D
A great part of this is due to Miss Bella Blue




Miss Bella Blue has single pawed tried to smother (literally) me with love (or to put me out of my misery perhaps?) since yesterday afternoon. She's showing no signs of slowing down today! :lol: How can I not be cheered by an 8lb dog who is intent on either cheering me up or killing me? :right: A girl's best friend :heart:

Magnus isn't showing any signs of improvement just yet. He will damn it! I'm being optimistic damn it!
Gosh darn it all to heck! It's only been a week! Give it time man!

Ok I'm perhaps a bit loopy today as well. :D No worries. Tomorrow I venture into town for stuff. I hate paying the bills and grocery shopping because I feel like I spend all of our money. I guess technically I AM but it's necessary. Anyway, my point is that I'm getting into the world of humans tomorrow. I'll probably just scowl at everyone as always. tee hee hee...

Plans for today include: laundry. jealous?

It's cloudy and cool today. We had another storm last night. I suppose fall is on it's way. And the holidays shortly behind. I love the holidays! It's all so... festive. Festive is good. Yummy food, colorful decorations, exchanging gifts, happy family time/wishing you were drunk/hiding in the bathroom crying (insert whichever applies to you). p:

Also I only realized earlier just how many people have sent friend invitations to me. 60+! Really? These friendly folks don't comment. A few I didn't realize had sent me invites or I would have accepted long ago (sorry!).

Well, I don't know about you, but most of the people who want to be my "friend" usually have links to (or actually are) porn sites. :irked: It's against Opera's 'Terms of Service' (or TOS) and is certainly against the spirit of what you and I and Opera want the Opera Community to be. I usually make one check of the "user" to see what's going on. Many times they are banned by the Opera "Powers That Be" before I check it out.

Opera has now initiated a special security system (called Completely Automated Public Turing test to tell Humans and Computers Apart--or CAPTCHA see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CAPTCHA ) so stupid, evil people don't use computers to automatically create these stupid, evil accounts that have to be banned or deleted by the moderators (they are very busy of late).

Something has gone terribly amiss in Opera-land the last 6 months or so. It was so much nicer when there were far less than 1 million accounts...which was only 2 years ago.

Stick to the tried and true friends. Abandon all others. :smile:
