If Only I Were As Cool As My Dogs Think I am!

Welcome To My Somewhat Coherent Babbling

Rude Awakening

I have decided to share an "incident" :left: D (lovinmalamutes) was generous enough to share an embarrassing moment on her blog yesterday and strangely enough I suffered my own embarrassment last night. Homer: Doh!

So I have decided to share with you, my dear Opera family, my tragic story.

Last night (or early this morning actually) as I was sleeping peacefully on the edge my King sized bed is when and where the tragidy struck. Understand the layout of the sleeping arrangement: Hermit taking up 1/2 of the bed, his mound of 10 pillows and Magnus taking up 1/4 of the bed, and then I get the last 1/4 of the bed, by the edge. Now this has never happened to me before, but it has to Hermit and I giggled meanly. Homer: Doh! That karma will get ya. Anyway, so I was sleeping soundly and suddenly felt myself falling and THUD. Yep, I rolled right off of my bed onto the floor.

Oh my Lord, please save me from myself!

WELCOME!It's Sunday!

I can sympathise; I have spent nights sandwiched between dog and bookcase.

the times when my dog used to sleep with me, i would look over at him sprawled out, legs digging into my ribs, pushing me into the wall and think.. "how long have i been your bitch?"

Gavin Sheedy 12. September 2009, 21:31

 oh, dear. I thought that Atos just liked me.

Hermitess 12. September 2009, 23:41

I see I'm not the only one who gets to sleep on very little of the bed!

Adele 13. September 2009, 07:53

Hermitess 13. September 2009, 14:27

No, Hermit was in the bathroom and missed it. Whew!

Magnus didn't seem to notice. He's used to my clumsiness though.

Kittylicious 14. September 2009, 17:51

I've never fallen out of the bed. Have never seen anyone fall out of the bed either awww

Gavin Sheedy 14. September 2009, 18:36

I have. Got a nasty cut above my eye. They had tweety bird on the x-ray machine. Yes, they had special x-ray machines for children

Kittylicious 14. September 2009, 19:29

Was it a bunk bed? :left:

Gavin Sheedy 14. September 2009, 19:36

No, but I hit a corner on the radiator on the way down. I moved my bed and slept against the wall for a long time after

Kittylicious 14. September 2009, 19:50

*giggles*
Sorry, but that is kinda funny. :D

Hermitess 14. September 2009, 20:33

OMG!

Be careful though! I got a concussion when I was 6, falling off the bed! They are dangerous. I think we should go back to sleeping on the floor :jester:

Gavin Sheedy 17. September 2009, 03:59

Or be daredevils and sleep on the top part of a bunkbed p:

Hermitess 17. September 2009, 05:54

 @Gavin! Are we allowed to wear helmets? :right:

I think I should stop letting Hermit and Magnus hog the bed.

Gavin Sheedy 17. September 2009, 06:30

 This could get out of hand. Roof-sleeping, any-one?
