Happy Music

I decided to share some of mine
The music that picks me up and makes me want to sing along tends to be more from the beat than the words. I'm not one for dancing but these are songs I'd totally (or have) work out to.
I was never into YouTube until I realized music videos are on there.
More links, for videos and tunes of some of my favorites...
Oh, and two of the cuties from the last tune are from the town I live in! (singer and bass guitarist)
Emenim -- We Made You
OutKast -- Hey Ya!
Blind Melon -- No Rain
Fall Out Boy -- Dance Dance
All American Rejects -- Swing Swing

I liked Foreigner, Blondie, and Pat Benatar when they were popular but I haven't heard them in forever!
Do you dance Henry?

On the other hand, great Christian bands come to mind: DC Talk, Casting Crowns, Audio Adrenaline, Downhere.
I would only dance if tortured - and it wouldn't look much better than torture. That's why I stick to "air musician" and workin' the sound board. Those I can do pretty well.

I agree much of the music these days is not very creative, and they seem to be remaking a lot of older music into new songs.
There are a few bands that seem to work on really creating their own sound/voice though. Linkin Park is my favorite band, they have been around a while but are not a really old band. Which reminds me, their new album comes out soon
