If Only I Were As Cool As My Dogs Think I am!

Welcome To My Somewhat Coherent Babbling

Trade Card Gang -- September Cards

Inquiring minds want to know what my September trade cards look like! :D

Well alrighty! Ask and ye shall receive:

September's topic was "What I Want Out Of Life"

These are all from Henry (SpicyFlier). He was kind enough to catch me up from last month's as well.

The top is "Favorite Things" (from August) and is a book he owns of short stories from the 1930s. Very cool!

The middle is "What I Want Out of Life" and is a photo of two older men chatting. Henry would enjoy a long time friendship that will last until they are old and senile. (I paraphrased there p: ) That would be a great thing. My gal pal T and I joke about getting adjoining rooms when we are in "the home" during our Golden Years.

The bottom is "Favorite Cartoons" (which is actually early, as it's this months topic). He has chosen to send me Dilbert because it's funny and true. I also enjoy Dilbert for the same reasons. :D

These are from Gavin (garlingmatthews),top, and Bianca (ShallowMuse), bottom.

Gavin sends a London postcard as he was in London visiting family. He tells about the Millienium Bridge in the photo. **It has been brought to my attention this was not the trade card for the month! A very happy and appreciated greeting all the same.**

Bianca sent a hand drawn card with Love and cute little hearts. This was fun to get as I sent one to Lucy about almost the same kind of love! (the lifelong, worthy of being made into a movie kind  ) Great minds think alike.

I believe, *ahem*, I am missing a card from *cough*Lucy*cough*.

:D

I very much have enjoyed getting mail from Canada, Sweden, South Africa, and soon England. Everyone's cards shows a bit more of who they are by what they chose and in the way they presented it.

Hugs Gang! I'm working on the October Cards as we speak.

:sst: Sorry about the photo quality! I am still using my phone camera for all my blogging pics as my regular camera is not set up to work on my laptop. :frown:

Its coming its coming! Our postal people here like to strike a lot, moaning about how they get paid too much money for putting stuff through a hole in a door...
But don't fear, my amazing art card is flying through the air right now (hopefully :right:)

And by the time Gavin sends out the trade cards he's gonna be sending sacks... :D
