Draw A Pig -- OINK

Go, draw! I'll wait.

*gets snack*

I drew too, this is what I learned: [it's talking about where and how you draw the pig]

Facing left, you believe in tradition, are friendly, and remember dates (birthdays, etc.)
**My fist instinct was to draw the pig facing left, but then drew it facing me instead, so this is all that changed if I had drawn it to the left**

Toward the middle of the frame, you are a realist.
Facing front, you are direct, enjoy playing devil's advocate and neither fear nor avoid discussions.
With few details, you are emotional and naive, you care little for details and are a risk-taker.
With 4 legs showing, you are secure, stubborn, and stick to your ideals.
The size of the ears indicates how good a listener you are. You are a good listener.

I'm already feeling the weather changes that are coming. Apparently there is a hurricane called Ida making landfall soon. This will shove a bunch of wet weather north into the states. yaay :left: I already feel worse so I dunno what is up with that. It's cloudy and warm again today. Rather nice actually.

Thanksgiving is coming up and I'm having the feast at my house. We rarely celebrate holidays at our house. Usually we pack up and make the 3 hour trip to our families. TG is the one holiday we've kind of claimed for our own in the past couple of years. But, my parents and brother and his wife are joining us this year. My MIL is unable to come due to her ailing father. (She's such a good daughter, she takes care of him full time!) Sooo, it will be a smallish affair and everyone is bringing food to add to the bit I'm making. It should be fun. :D

Enjoy your week!

Gavin work on your cards.

Lucy, wear earplugs to work if necessary!

Bianca, good luck on your exams! :D

Henry, drink more coffee  p:

Ok, whoever the smarty is that marked they'd comment on my poll if I DID NOT talk about the "kids" better get typing. p:

We don't celebrate Thanksgiving here (that must be a typical American thing, or?), but it sounds like you're in for some fun

All right: something is not right in Opera-world. :irked: I didn't get notified for this regular post! I guess I'll just have to go tramping around my friends' blogs one by one looking for updates...

On top of that, I can't draw a pig! The page has been removed! (there are some things I wouldn't want to tell even my friends here)

What?! 8 cups of coffee a day not good enough for you?

Hermitess 10. November 2009, 02:00

Rose - Yes Thanksgiving is an American only holiday. Supposed to be when the pilgrims (those who "settled America", no matter it was already inhabited by the Indians/Native Americans) and the Indians got together for a big feast to be thankful for their crops and surviving and all that. So we celebrate every year to be "thankful" and enjoy a similar feast of roast turkey, etc...

Henry - Opera bad! Behave Opera!
hrrmmm... well I don't know what happened to that page. Will investigate.
I didn't realize you drank EIGHT cups!!! nevermind, you'll never get any sleep! p:

Hermitess 10. November 2009, 02:02

Ok I fixed the link! I managed to get an extra space in the end where there shouldn't have been.

Hermitess 10. November 2009, 02:05

Henry! I just realized why you didn't get notified. Did anyone? I used the FOP notification post I had up and turned it into this one. So technically it isn't really a new post, just different. Homer: Doh! Didn't think of that. whups.

i also didnt get notified! ARGH! And thank you! My exam went swimmingly today!
oh and according to my pig,
"you are a realist.
you are innovative and active, but don't have a strong sense of family, nor do you remember dates
you are emotional and naive, you care little for details and are a risk-taker.
you are insecure or are living through a period of major change.
You are a good listener.
You have a great sex life."

Er, not so sure about the sex part and i am NOT NAIVE! ya, it was pretty wrong

Hermitess 11. November 2009, 21:39

Mine was pretty accurate for the most part.

I'm pretty good at remembering things like bdays and sending cards :hat:
I think I'm realistic. Usually. :left: :alien:
I prefer to be direct.
I'm definatly stubborn and stick to my ideals. Livin' up to being a taurus. (not the car, the astrological sign)
I'm an excellent listner :D
Emotional? mmm...eh, meh.
Naive? Not really but I always want to see the good in people.
