As the sole maid, chef, caretaker, and conseirge of this place I dwell in I do actually have a lot of responsibility. I've been trying to wrap my head around my new job and figure out the most efficient ways of doing things. This is part of my quest to get things done and still keep the fibro under control. My life has changed so much! Well, I guess a girls' gotta adapt ....

Happy Friday Opera peeps!
I had the spectacular idea yesterday that I would make a video blog entry.
This is going to be so cool, I thought. Well, after searching and searching, and then finally consulting Hermit, it was discovered that Gert doesn't have video record!
Oh well, so much for that. I was sent a link from the NFA about a fibro video and watched that, then saw links to other fibro related things and saw people with fibro who made video blog entries. It was pretty interesting to discover that. A couple of them looked fine, others looked tired, and one was sitting really stiff and uncomfortable looking (I sit like that too, LOL). I saw myself in ALL of them, which was neat in a way, to actually see and hear someone else going through the same thing. My attempts to connect with others in my town have resulted in nothing. I met a couple of people twice but have not been able to visit with any of them again unfortunately. So if any fibromyalgia sufferers who live in Northern Oklahoma are reading my blog, shoot me a message!
Today I have much to do. If I were smart I'd go do these things right now while it's early and could get around town more easily. I'm still waking up though and feeling sleepy. I haven't had breakfast either.
I entered Magnus and Bella in a weekly online photo contest. Go vote for them!
I can win $$! DogBallot Magnus is under the "Jack Russell Terrier" section and Bella is in the "Other" section. You should recognize the photos as I've had them on the blog before, Magnus getting a belly rub and smiling; Bella spooning me and looking like she's happy.

Have you ever had that one person who gives you a thump when you need it (but maybe don't realize it right at that moment?) Hermit is that person for me. After an intense discussion a couple of weeks ago I have thought and prayed a lot and realized many things. Mostly that life is passing me by.
