Holiday
The holiday was fun
It was very enjoyable to have my family here for two days.
We had a good time!
Unfortunately I had worn myself out before they even got here but I made it through.
My plan of doing things so the fibro wouldn't get flared up didn't go so well
Here are some highlights:
The overeating began when Hermit and I had dinner with my parents at our favorite Mexican restaurant Wednesday night. Soo good! Love that guac dip!
We all reminisced about Sun and how much he (apparently) disliked men and used to jump fences. It seems Sun had attempted to kick my brother, my dad, and my husband. He also used to bite an ex-boyfriend of mine.
He often chased deer and dogs out of his pasture. We decided Sun was a bit grumpy, although he was not like that with me.
He and I had a good bond and I could crawl all over him. I'm special.
I discovered my dad had nicknamed him "Moose" because of the way he plodded along, like, eh, a moose!
I never knew that.
Everyone met Lucia and thought she was really pretty. And short.
She's setting in well now.
Thanksgiving dinner was really good and we all ate too much. Then took a nap.
Friday was spent shopping. We did not get up to be at the stores at 4am for the black Friday sales. It was more like... 11ish.
We did buy some things though. My dad and brother went to manly shops, while I took my mom and SIL to other shops. Hermit stayed home. I got a neat scrapbook and embellishments to put all of Sun's pictures, show ribbons, and memories in. I started tearing up in the middle of the scrap booking section of Hobby Lobby.
It will be a neat scrap book though. It came with background papers already in and they all coordinate with the outside of the book, so I mostly just put in pictures and some embellishments.
We also bought some Christmas gifts. I got a new pair of clogs (Bella ate my other pair) although my mum took them away from me after seeing that they fit and took them back home with her.
I can't have them until Christmas
She's so mean.
After shopping, we all came back and ate TG dinner a second time. mmmmm yum! My family left a while later to make the drive back home before dark. It was such a nice visit.
On ward to Christmas!
Me thinks I ate too much
OOO ooo too full

Jack Russell terrier, Holiday, my day
Dance a jig & drink some green beer, its St. Patricks Day!!!
I saw a place in town is serving green pizza today. Mmmmm tasty? Here this day gets celebrated by all foods turning green & everyone wears green. What happens in your area?
Its also the "official" birthday of HD/Magnus my superdog sidekick & constant companion. He is 7 years young today. He was only 9 weeks old when we got him. He was so teeny & cute. We celebrated yesterday by enjoying a long walk at the lake & then a trip to the petstore where he got 2 very large biscuits to snack on throughout the week. I took photos of our walk for my scrapbook because 1-it was a gorgeous day 2-we always walk there so it should be remembered 3-it was his birthday 4-its my scrapbook & i can do what I want to.
I found a great shirt online yesterday. It says "Fibromyalgia Sucks". Simple, yet direct. I love it! It will hang in my closet next to its sure to be pal, my "Cancer Sucks" shirt.
Today I got my 1st injection. It stung but not too bad I guess. The dreaded diet is also in effect.
Why is HDs shirt blue? I mean really, its for St. Patricks day. Yes those are my feet. My mom bought me those clogs. She has a matching pair. HD kept walking around making it difficult for me to photograph him. As you can see from his blur of a tail, he is super stoked to be wearing his shirt.
Now on to the rest of my day....
I'm getting a headache which may be because of the injection.
I have plenty of household chores to do plus cooking myself things to eat - all from scratch. I know how to cook from scratch. Mom started teaching me when I was 8 years old, so no problem there. The problem is.... I don't wanna!

It's Peeps Day!
Enjoy your Peeps!
For those of you who may not be familiar with Peeps, they are marshmallow shapes covered with colored sugar. Originally they were yellow chicks at Easter but now come in many shapes & colors for all seasons.
Since my cancer scans always fall near Easter I get to have Peeps. They are one of the few premade items I can eat on 'the diet'.
I prefer the bunnies.

I eat them ears first.
How do you eat your Peeps?
