It's Burning My Brain!!!

WOW it is HOT here: 107 degrees F (42 degrees C).
I went outside yesterday to run errands and got a headache from the heat. yowzers!
So I'm staying indoors with the AC and the fans today. bigsmile

This week is slow and lazy for me. I don't have anything going on until Friday. So I'm being domestic and doing housework, wishing I could have a job (stupid fibro!), and hangin' with my canine posse. I've been sleeping a lot and feeling sleep deprived anyway. I feel like I'm thinking and talking s l o w.


On the upside, I got my new checkbook cover today in the mail. It's a weird brownish colored leopard print. My old one was getting rather sad looking. Also my neighbor shared a secret code for the SIMS2 game to give me unlimited amounts of money to build fabulous mansions with! yay! I love to build as you know. If anyone else would like the code let me know and I'll share it. I need to write it down before I forget it. My brain is like the Bermuda Triangle for thoughts. wink


I finally discovered where all these cool vintage/retro funny housewife pictures are coming from: Anne Taintor As you can see I quite enjoy them. They are so funny! I'm going to have to order some things off of her site or maybe just keep checking at Hastings, they sell some of it in their stationary/greeting card area.

It's unusually hot for this time of year. August, I dread seeing how hot that month is!

Jarka it usually isn't this hot until August so we'll see what happens! Hopefully it will not be hotter. bigeyes

This is summer for us every year, nothing new, just whining because IT IS HOT. LOL

Just wanted to leave you a note to tell you I left a message in your shout box, and meant to say "QUIETER", but spelled quiter instead. Forgive my spelling please. I will be going to summer school, but I might be beyond help.p lol lol

We are having warm sunny weather and it's suppose to last all week. I hope it does. This is not usual for our weather around this time of year. Spring wasn't as it normally is either. We are usually really wet and soggy.yikes

If the rains come back I might need that boat. I expect it'll be torrential rains when they get here! We are needing the rain, and I am the last person to wish, or hope for rain, as it is usually all we get here.lol
