I seem to have lost them in the creek!

I had a very nice weekend. On Saturday it was warm & sunny so I ran a couple of errands, then headed to the golf course for the first time in 5 months with the intention of practicing at the driving range. Hermit was already there & appeared with 6 friends for us to play 9 holes with. :yikes: I did terribly, but got better as I went. I lost a ball or two. Naturally I got teased. p: It ended up being lots of fun though! After golfing, we & 2 friends went to eat Chinese. Mmmmm I :heart: Chinese food! I always stuff myself until I'm miserable.

On Sunday, I went to a little get together my neighbor was having for the neighborhood. That was also fun! It was nice to get to know some of my neighbors better. The hosting couple were very nice & they being older I think I may adopt them as my "grandparents" since mine have all moved to heaven. :angel:

I hope you had a wonderful weekend as well! :D

I'm a bit sad because Hermit is starting his new job tomorrow & will be working 8-12hrs a day. He has to go out of state for one week to train soon. :frown:
The money will be good, but I'd rather be poor & have him home more.
O woe is me & my sad sad heart!

I forgot to add that I am SORE from golfing. :lol: I'm so out of shape.

I also buy the nice colored balls (yes those are mine in the photo) partly because some of the profit goes to cancer research & partly because they make me feel like I'm hunting Easter eggs when I'm searching for my ball. :D

Its relaxing if I don't put a lot of presure on myself.

I'm not very good but hermit is pretty good & teaches well, so maybe I'll get it.

I forgot to mention that I hit a tree one of the times I teed off. The ball ricocheted backwards and landed several feet behind the tee box! It takes true talent to get negative yardage.

I just started golfing :love: and let me tell I was so sored :cry: that when I was cooking I couldn't stir :no: :chef: the food correctly. :D

Anyhow.. I can relate to the job thing...my man switched jobs last May...it has been a continual adjustment since then. He works midnights--well kinda... from 3-11:30 p.m. though he works overtime all the time...3 weeks a month then he works days..and that is from like 5:30 am to 2:30 p.m. It's quite hectic trying to keep the kids quiet when he works nights..then he is really exhausted that week he works days..
It is WAY better pay which is awesome but he is gone a lot...he has gone twice for training too...for almost a week once, then a few days the second time.
& Of course this week was his 'days' week so all the baby goats decided to be born just for me to enjoy!!!! ARGH! p:

Oh my Cheryl! I got confused just trying to read his schedule! That must be crazy to keep up with.
