Sun has been with me for 21 years, so this is hard for me.

I was somewhat prepared though.

Thank you everyone

He was 30 years old, almost the same age as myself. He was given to me by my parents when I turned 13 years old. You know I love all my animals, but he was truly considered a part of the family, not only by myself but also my parents as well as Sam.

I did have enough foresight to tell him good bye last night because I had a bad feeling, but am glad he did not suffer into a frail, sickly old age.

Yes Lucy he did like apples. and skittles. He loved skittles

That's not weird at all. I too believe that pets are family and when you've had someone for 30 years... yes that's tough.
The way you've written about Sun here has shown the good times you've had together, and they will never go away.
