Don't you just love those moments when something simple but unique and special arrives at your feet? You know, one of those things you will keep forever... It doesn't happen often, but when it does it is such a joyous feeling. 
Today such a thing happened to me.
I know I know, I've been going on and on about this for 3 weeks so it wasn't a surprise, but it's still fabulous! Yes, it finally arrived.... my highly anticipated anniversary gift (one of them 
). 
Forgive me for the poor quality of this photo (and clogging up the bandwidth no doubt
). The weather is again cool and rainy, so I'm having problems again. I had the shaky hands and had trouble getting a still shot.
ANYWAY...
This is me and my new purse, handmade and hand dyed wool. I was a little worried it'd be too big or I'd be disappointed somehow after anxiously awaiting it but I was not. This bag is VERY well made and the colors are gorgeous! It's the perfect size for me and I like the long strap so I can have my hands free while shopping.

I'm still amazed that this came handmade by a man in Peru. He did an excellent job!

I had a difficult time convincing Bella that this was not a gift for her. She really wanted it!
Out of all my purses this will be the one that is extra special. I feel good knowing the money we spent is enabling this man to support his family and a trade that has been handed down through generations in his family.
This may be "the one". Yes friends, I may have finally found the purse to spend the rest of my life with.

thanks for all the supportive comments, it's been a rough week. Funny, I used to predict the fibro but not anymore.

I had my sunshine yesterday with my new bicycle. It's not a (relatively) simple thing like a purse, but another step in getting ready to see Cheryl and her family in Ottawa at the end of the month.
