The War On Toddlerism bySteve Watson Nothing emphasizes the decline of America into an authoritarian police state more than the treatment of children as possible enemies, deviants or criminals. A few cases, involving very young children, have caught our attention this month that indicate in the current climate any sniff of power is corrupting absolutely those who believe they have it. The AP reported today that a five year old boy has been accused of sexually harassing a kindergarten classmate:
The father of the child insists that his son knows nothing about sex and was just playing. Nevertheless the "offence" will remain on the child's file. This is not an isolated case. The same report from the AP says that in Marlyland alone, where this incident took place, 28 kindergarten students were suspended for sex offenses in the last school year - 15 of those suspensions for sexual harassment. Earlier this month a four year old boy was accused of "improperly touching" a female school employee. The principal of La Vega Primary School sent a letter to the parents of the boy that said the pre-kindergartener demonstrated "inappropriate physical behavior interpreted as sexual contact and/or sexual harassment." The school says that the boy rubbed his face in the chest of the employee. Again the parents were outraged insisting that a four year old cannot know what it means to act sexually. What kind of sick light does this put America into where teachers and school officials are suspending children barely beyond the age of toddlers for sexual deviancy? Just because adult culture has become saturated in sex does not mean that children no longer have innocent minds and must be treated as if they are corrupted little perverts.
Furthermore, the double standards on display here are astounding given that kindergarten children are now being taught sex education in some schools. Some even go as far as to have "diversity" programs whereby kids as young as four and five are taught about gay sex. One Father in Lexington was jailed for opposing this, as if he was some kind of evil person for not wanting his child, a baby barely out of nappies, to be taught anything about sex, especially gay sex. ''This is not about creating a forum for hate . . . for any segment of society," Mr Parker said after his arraignment. ''I'm just trying to be a good dad." The war on toddlerism doesn't stop with sex either. There have been all kinds of cases all over the country that paint a picture postcard which illustrates the downfall of America into a police state divorced from any form common sense or reason. Here is a short list of links you can check: Handcuffing Of 5-Year-Old A Picture Postcard Of America's Decline School Suspends Kindergartner For Bringing Pocket Knife To Lunch Skateboarding Children Arrested in Massachusetts Child arrested for bringing a toy to school Child Arrested for Trying to Bring Water to Terri Schiavo No homework? Tell it to the judge Officer's Taser is used on girl, 9 Student's refusal to adjust cap leads to arrest, controversy 9-year-old arrested for stealing bunny Boy investigated by FBI for researching paper on Chesapeake Bay Bridge Secret Service Questions Students Goose Creek Police tape prompts questions on school raid Last month we also reported the story of a fifth grader named 'Mark' who called in to Alex Jones' Infowars TV show by phone and reported that he had been sent home with a disciplinary report for visiting 9/11 Truth websites such as Infowars.com. Mark's father revealed that the school has also approached him, recommending a psych test for behavior such as "running" and "making farting noises." Indeed every child would be subject to behavioral testing under The President's "New Freedom initiative." Meanwhile, schools like Lee Middle School in Wyoming, Michigan conduct drills where police officers burst in and point guns at children's heads, all without informing the students or the school beforehand. "Some parents," the AP reported, "were upset."
"Some kids were so scared," said Marge Bradshaw, the mother of one of the students, "they wet their pants." This is part of a chilling effect to nullify even the pursuit of freedom of speech. How does it reflect upon the nature of discourse in a free society when even the principal of an elementary school feels the need to crush the desire of enquiring young minds who are simply trying to learn more about the seminal event in American history? Beyond schools, baby milk is being taken from mothers at airports and babies are being put through x-ray machines because they could be terrorists. In a broader sense this is indicative of the decline of everything good about America. When it has got to the point where children are looked upon as possible sex criminal terrorists what hope do fully grown citizens have of not being treated in the same manner?....

** ![]() The Detroit News | December 20, 2006 FARMINGTON HILLS -- The attorney for a Detroit police sergeant who was Tasered three times by Farmington Hills police says his client did not try to flee police after a traffic violation. Sgt. David Marshall is charged with running a red light at 10 Mile and Inkster about 1:05 a.m. Dec. 13 after getting off work from the Detroit Police Department. The 12-year veteran, who was in uniform at the time of the incident, is also charged with interfering with police authority. Attorney Arnold Reed also said Marshall was unnecessarily stripped down to his underclothes at the police station after surrendering his police radio and ammunition. "There is no reason my client had to go through what he did," Reed said. Reed added the police officers didn't activate their overhead lights until Marshall pulled into his Farmington Hills driveway. While still seated in his car getting mail from his mailbox, Marshall was asked to get out of his car and remove his weapon from its holster. Marshall requested that a superior officer be brought to the scene and his car was searched, Reed said. Officers used the Taser the first time on Marshall when he reached for his radio. He later placed his hand on his gun and the officer stunned him again. Reed said Marshall had put his hand on the weapon to secure it. A court date has been set for 2 p.m. Jan. 8 in 47th District Court. Farmington Hills Police Chief William Dwyer said the incident has been investigated and the use of a Taser was justified. "I believe both officers could have been more professional towards each other; then the situation would not have escalated," Dwyer said. "But it did and it's unfortunate."

Story I
OMINOUS SIGNS:A Very Dangerous New Yearby ROBERT PARRY The first two or three months of 2007 represent a dangerous opening for an escalation of war in the Middle East, as George W. Bush will be tempted to double-down his gamble in Iraq by joining with Israels Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and outgoing British Prime Minister Tony Blair to strike at Syria and Iran, intelligence sources say.</script> So far, however, Bush has confronted stiff opposition from the Pentagon;s Joint Chiefs of Staff to the plan for raising troop levels in Iraq, partly because the generals don;t think it makes sense to commit more troops without a specific military mission. But it;s unclear how much the generals know about the expanded-war option which has been discussed sometimes in one-on-one meetings among the principals Bush, Olmert and Blair according to intelligence sources. Since the Nov. 7 congressional elections, the three leaders have conducted a round-robin of meetings that on the surface seem to have little purpose. Olmert met privately with Bush on Nov. 13; Blair visited the White House on Dec. 7; and Blair conferred with Olmert in Israel on Dec. 18.
A Hail Mary strategy: Bush, Olmert and Blair could salvage their reputations if a wider war broke out in the Middle East and then broke in their favor.
All three leaders could salvage their reputations if a wider war broke out in the Middle East and then broke in their favor.
Bush and Blair spearheaded the March 2003 invasion of Iraq that has since turned into a disastrous occupation. In summer 2006, Olmert launched offensives against Hamas in Gaza and Hezbollah in Lebanon, drawing international condemnation for the deaths of hundreds of civilians and domestic criticism for his poorly designed war plans. The three leaders also find themselves cornered by political opponents. Bush;s Republican Party lost control of both the House and Senate on Nov. 7; Blair succumbed to pressure from his own Labour Party and agreed to step down in spring 2007; and Olmert is suffering from widespread public disgust over the failed Lebanese war.
The three leaders have rebuffed advice from more moderate advisers that they adopt less confrontational strategies and consider unconditional negotiations with their Muslim adversaries.
Yet, despite these reversals, the three leaders have rebuffed advice from more moderate advisers that they adopt less confrontational strategies and consider unconditional negotiations with their Muslim adversaries.
Most dramatically, Bush spurned a bipartisan Iraq Study Group plan that was co-authored by the Bush Family;s long-time counselor, former Secretary of State James Baker. Instead of heeding Baker;s advice to begin a drawdown of U.S. troops from Iraq and start talks with Iran and Syria, Bush rejected the notion of a graceful exit and then set unacceptable preconditions for talks with Iran and Syria. In other words, Baker tossed a life preserver to Bush who threw it back. Victory Agenda
Bush has continued to insist on victory in Iraq and has again ratcheted up his rhetoric. He now talks about waging a long war against Islamic radicals and extremists, not just the original goal of defeating terrorists with global reach.
At his news conference on Dec. 20, Bush cast this wider struggle against Islamists as a test of American manhood and perseverance by demonstrating to the enemy that they can;t run us out of the Middle East, that they can;t intimidate America. Bush suggested, too, that painful decisions lay ahead in the New Year. I;m not going to make predictions about what 2007 will look like in Iraq, except that it;s going to require difficult choices and additional sacrifices, because the enemy is merciless and violent, Bush said. Rather than scale back his neoconservative dream of transforming the Middle East, Bush argued for an expanded U.S. military to wage this long war. We must make sure that our military has the capability to stay in the fight for a long period of time, Bush said. I;m not predicting any particular theater, but I am predicting that it;s going to take a while for the ideology of liberty to finally triumph over the ideology of hate. ... We;re in the beginning of a conflict between competing ideologies a conflict that will determine whether or not your children can live in a peace. A failure in the Middle East, for example, or failure in Iraq, or isolationism, will condemn a generation of young Americans to permanent threat from overseas. So, rather than looking for a way out of the Iraq quagmire, Bush now waist deep in the muck is determined to press on. Bushs dilemma, however, is that time is working against him. Not only are the American people increasingly angry about U.S. troops caught in the middle of a sectarian civil war in Iraq, but Bush;s domestic and international political bases continue to erode. Blair, who is widely derided in the United Kingdom as Bush;s poodle, is nearing the end of his tenure, and Bushs Republican Party is worried about Election 2008 if American soldiers are still dying in Iraq in two years. Plus, few military analysts believe a temporary troop surge alone will stop the steady deterioration in Iraq. Bush acknowledged as much at his news conference. In order to do so [the surge], there must be a specific mission that can be accomplished with more troops; Bush said. That;s precisely what our commanders have said, as well as people who know a lot about military operations. And I agree with them that there;s got to be a specific mission that can be accomplished with the addition of more troops before I agree on that strategy.; Though not making much sense as a way to quell the civil strife in Iraq, a U.S. military buildup could help protect American interests in Iraq if Israeli attacks on Syria and Iran touch off retaliation against U.S. and British targets. Wider War
For Bush, this idea of expanding the war outside Iraq also is not new.
Since spring 2006, Bush reportedly has been weighing military options for bombing Iran;s nuclear facilities, but he has encountered resistance from senior U.S. military officers. As investigative reporter Seymour Hersh wrote in The New Yorker, a number of senior U.S. officers were troubled by administration war planners who believed bunker-busting tactical nuclear weapons, known as B61-11s, were the only way to destroy Irans nuclear facilities buried deep underground. A former senior intelligence official told Hersh that the White House refused to remove the nuclear option from the plans despite objections from the Joint Chiefs of Staff. Whenever anybody tries to get it out, they;re shouted down, the ex-official said. [New Yorker, April 17, 2006] By late April 2006, however, the Joint Chiefs finally got the White House to agree that using nuclear weapons to destroy Iran;s uranium-enrichment plant at Natanz, less than 200 miles south of Tehran, was politically unacceptable, Hersh reported. Bush and [Vice President Dick] Cheney were dead serious about the nuclear planning, one former senior intelligence official said. But even with the nuclear option off the table senior U.S. military officials worried about the political and economic fallout from a massive bombing campaign against Iran. Hersh wrote: Inside the Pentagon, senior commanders have increasingly challenged the Presidents plans, according to active-duty and retired officers and officials. The generals and admirals have told the Administration that the bombing campaign will probably not succeed in destroying Irans nuclear program. They have also warned that an attack could lead to serious economic, political, and military consequences for the United States.Hersh quoted a retired four-star general as saying,;The system is starting to sense the end of the road, and they don;t want to be condemned by history. They want to be able to say,We stood up. [New Yorker, July 10, 2006] Beyond the dangers from Iran;s nuclear program, the Bush administration views the growing Shiite crescent across the Middle East as a threat to U.S. influence. Washington Post foreign policy analyst Robin Wright wrote that U.S. officials told her that for the United States, the broader goal is to strangle the axis of Hezbollah, Hamas, Syria and Iran, which the Bush administration believes is pooling resources to change the strategic playing field in the Middle East. [Washington Post, July 16, 2006] By summer 2006, Israeli sources were describing Bush;s interest in finding a pretext to hit back at Syria and Iran. That opening came when border tensions with Hamas in Gaza and with Hezbollah in Lebanon led to the capture of three Israeli soldiers and a rapid Israeli escalation of the conflict into an air-and-ground campaign against Lebanon. Bush and his neoconservative advisers saw the Israeli-Lebanese conflict as an opportunity to expand the fighting into Syria and achieve the long-sought regime change in Damascus, Israeli sources said. One Israeli source told me that Bushs interest in spreading the war to Syria was considered nuts by some senior Israeli officials, although Prime Minister Olmert generally shared Bushs hard-line strategy against Islamic militants. [See Consortiumnews.com;s Bush Wants Wider War In an article on July 30, 2006. the Jerusalem Post also hinted at the Israeli rejection of Bushs suggestion of a wider war into Syria. Defense officials told the Post ... that they were receiving indications from the US that America would be interested in seeing Israel attack Syria, the newspaper reported. In August 2006, the Inter-Press Service provided additional details, reporting that the message was passed to Israel by Bush;s deputy national security adviser Elliott Abrams, who had been a central figure in the Iran-Contra scandal of the 1980s. In a meeting with a very senior Israeli official, Abrams indicated that Washington would have no objection if Israel chose to extend the war beyond to its other northern neighbor, leaving the interlocutor in no doubt that the intended target was Syria, a source told the Inter-Press Service. In December 2006, Meyray Wurmser, a leading U.S. neoconservative whose spouse is a Middle East adviser to Vice President Cheney, confirmed that neocons in and outside the Bush administration had hoped Israel would attack Syria as a means of undermining the insurgents in Iraq. If Syria had been defeated, the rebellion in Iraq would have ended,Wurmser said in an interview with Yitzhak Benhorin of the Ynet Web site. A great part of it was the thought that Israel should fight against the real enemy, the one backing Hezbollah. ... If Israel had hit Syria, it would have been such a harsh blow for Iran that it would have weakened it and (changed) the strategic map in the Middle East. In early 2007, the revival of this neoconservative strategy of using the Israeli military to oust the Syrian government and to inflict damage on Irans nuclear program may represent a last-ditch and high-risk gamble by Bush and the neocons to salvage their historic legacy. If that is the case, then Bush will approve the surge in U.S. forces into Iraq, which likely will be followed by some provocation that can be blamed on Syria or Iran, thus justifying the expanded war. Betting the lives of American soldiers and countless civilians across the Middle East, Bush will follow the age-old adage of gambling addicts: in for a dime, in for a dollar. |

Cops Caught Stealing Protestors' Cameras In the latest attack on the first amendment, a shocking video has emerged of the NYPD attacking a protestor and stealing his camera and footage at a demonstration demanding justice for an independent video journalist who was shot and killed earlier this year. |
A video that shows Oklahoma City bomber Timothy McVeigh at a U.S. military base that specializes in explosives and demolition training over a year after he supposedly left the army puts the official story of the April 19 1995 federal building bombing under serious doubt and mandates a re-opening of an investigation into the terror attack that killed 168 people.

ROME — A senior Roman Catholic cardinal has announced that the Vatican wants to put together a soccer team of priests capable of competing in Serie A, Italy's top league.
The team would play in the colors of the papal flag — yellow and white.
" The Vatican could, in future, field a team that plays at the top level, with Roma, Inter Milan, Genoa, and Sampdoria," said Cardinal Tarcisio Bertone, the Vatican's Secretary of State, the equivalent of its prime minister.
He said: "We can recruit lads from the seminaries. I remember that in the World Cup of 1990 there were 42 players among the teams who made it to the finals who came from Salesian training centers all over the world.
"If we just take the Brazilian students from our Pontifical universities we could have a magnificent squad."
Giovanni Trapattoni, the former Italian national team manager, who is in charge of Salzburg FC, has been mooted as a possible coach.
In 2002, Mr. Trapattoni took bottles of holy water with him to the World Cup in Japan and South Korea to refresh the Italian team. But they were knocked out in the early stages. Soccer is close to the hearts of some of the most senior Vatican figures.
Cardinal Bertone is a fervent Juventus fan and has in the past been a soccer commentator for a northern Italian television station. Pope John Paul II was a goalkeeper in his youth, while the current pope received Pele during the last World Cup and paid a visit to the German team's training camp.
The cardinal said soccer could play an exemplary role in the lives of young people and soccer stadiums were an ideal spot for church recruitment.
"Stadiums are modern temples, frequented by thousands of youths. I once carried out a Stations of the Cross service in the Ferraris stadium," he said.
The cardinal announced the Holy See's ambitions during a ceremony in which he was awarded honorary citizenship of Alassio, near Genoa.
He did not make clear how the Holy See — technically an independent state — could legitimately compete in Italy's domestic league. Neither did he indicate how long he imagined it might take for the Vatican to reach Serie A standard.
The Vatican has a little known soccer team already — made up mostly of Swiss Guards — which plays against a small number of other states who have not been recognized by Fifa, soccer's governing body. Its only international fixture, against Monaco in 2002, ended in a 0–0 draw.
Cardinal Bertone has set up a league of 16 clubs to compete in a new championship for the Clericus Cup.
The league will run from February to the end of June in Rome and will have both group and knockout stages. In 2008, it may expand across Italy.
However, he said: "I insisted to the managers in charge of the lads that the games should not overlap with Mass." Matches will be played only on weekdays.

Internationally Known Radio Talk Host, Roughed Up By Austin TX Cops
Monday, December 18, 2006 |
On Sunday morning, December 17, 2006, syndicated radio host Jack Blood was Pepper sprayed and arrested by Austin PD. He received multiple injuries to his Face, hands, arms, back, and legs in a 12 hour ordeal in police custody. Following an after party for The Arab League with many fans and supporters of Jack Blood at the Jackalope on Austin Texas`s famous 6th street, Jack was standing at the back alley exit of the club waiting to leave, and talking to fans. Out of nowhere a fight broke out between two Hispanic males and one Caucasian victim who turned out to be an employee of the Jackalope. The victim was knocked unconscious by the two perpetrators who were continuing to attack the defenseless victim. Without any fear for his own safety, Jack Blood jumped in and fended off the attackers and chased them away while dozens of onlookers witnessed the mecircleacutee. As Jack was standing over the unconscious victim to protect him from any possible further attacks until an ambulance could arrive, an Austin Police officer (APD Harvey 4694) came rushing into the scene and without identifying himself, or asking questions of the gathering mob Proceeded to pepper spray Mr. Blood directly in the eyes, before violently cuffing him and hauling him off to jail. No attempt was made to investigate the beating, or to identify the suspects of the assault. The Victim was rushed to Breckenridge Hospital with a broken Nose and multiple injuries. Jack Blood was transferred from the county jail receiving quarters to Breckenridge Hospital for high blood pressure and hypertension, where he was rigidly handcuffed to a gurney for 4 hours. He was not allowed to use a restroom, and several officers told him he would have to urinate in his cloths, an unacceptable command. Bottled urine samples were later illegally obtained by the authorities against Mr. Blood`s will. did not ask to go to the hospital and refused treatment said Jack Blood. As I was not given the proper respect by my jailers, I fought back by unleashing a 3 hour Info-Tirade against Officer Harvey, making sure to wake him up every time he closed his eyes to sleep. Fair is fair and I will admit that they had a tiger by the tail trying to hold me said Blood. A bit of humor interjected itself into the story when the doctor treating Mr. Blood admitted several times to both Blood and his jailer that he was a Big Fan of Deadline Live with Jack Blood, heard daily on 100.1 FM in Austin Texas. He vouched for Mr. Blood`s character to no avail. Jack was released Sunday Afternoon with a promise to appear later in the week to face charges of Public Intoxication. Yes I had a few drinks; said Blood, But I was in no way intoxicated, or a threat to the public. Indeed I believe that I was doing the officer job by jumping in to save a defenseless victim of what may have been a racially motivated attack. There are multiple witness, including the victim who are prepared to back my story, Jack went on to say. I Plan to fight the charges and clear my name. If this is the kind of treatment that Americans are to receive when standing up to help a fellow citizen in need, then we do indeed find ourselves in troubled times. www.jackblood.com is currently awaiting a statement from the APD. DEADLINE LIVE with Jack Blood airs live 2 & 4PM Central time on the Genesis Communications Network out of Minnesota, and can be heard for free in over 70 countries worldwide at www.gcnlive.com or on AM and FM radio stations across the USA.

Colin Powell: US losing Iraq war
Former US Secretary of State Colin Powell has said overstretched US troops are losing the conflict in Iraq.
Mr Powell told CBS News that bolstering troop numbers would be unlikely to reverse the "grave and deteriorating situation" in the country.
President Bush is trying to shape a new strategy for Iraq, with officials suggesting more soldiers may be sent.
Mr Powell's comments come a day before the new defence secretary, Robert Gates, is to be sworn in.
During his confirmation hearings, Mr Gates also conceded that the US was not winning in Iraq and faced a "regional conflagration" unless the downward spiral was reversed.
The recent Iraq Study Group review said the US strategy of "staying the course" was no longer viable and suggested combat troops could be withdrawn by early 2008.
But on Friday, an administration official said up to 25,000 more troops could be deployed in the country to try to help end the violence and make cities like Baghdad more secure.
There are currently 140,000 US troops in Iraq.
'Overstretched'
The leader of the Democrats in the US Senate has backed the reported plan to boost troop levels, but only if it is part of a longer-term strategy.
"If it is for a surge, that is, for two or three months, and if it is part of a programme to get us out of there as indicated by this time next year, then, sure, I'll go along with it," Harry Reid said.
However, Mr Powell told CBS he was not convinced more soldiers on the ground would quell the violence.
"I am not persuaded that another surge of troops into Baghdad for the purposes of suppressing this communitarian violence, this civil war, will work," he said.
He added that such was the overstretch of the US military, there were no additional troops that could be sent.
"We are losing - we haven't lost - and this is the time, now to start to put in place the kinds of strategies that will turn this situation around," he said

Bohemian Grove Exposes Itself!
|
NICK SCHOU / OC Weekly | September 4 2006 For more than a century, the Bohemian Grove, a 2,700-acre forest retreat in Sonoma County, has served as the stomping grounds of California's richest men. The private, all-male club, founded in 1872 by a pair of San Francisco journalists, has a secret membership whose ironic primary directive is to never speak with reporters. The secrecy surrounding the group has given rise to rumors of homosexuality and bizarre rituals involving satanism and human sacrifice. There's even speculation that the Bohemian Grove is actually an offshoot of a secret cult stretching back through history to ancient Egypt. Google the group, and you'll find that its members have included numerous former U.S. presidents and various masters of industry. Dig deeper, and you'll discover that it's actually a playground for an elite cabal plotting New World Order global domination alongside the Elders of Zion, Knights Templar, Freemasons and Illuminati. The Grove's motto—“Weaving Spiders Come Not Here”—taken from a play by Shakespeare, was originally intended as an admonition against members discussing business at the club. Yet the Grove's guest list suggests that matters of national and even global policy are indeed discussed there. The most famous example, privately confirmed by Bohemian Grove members—or “Bohos” as they refer to themselves—is the Manhattan Project, which supposedly met there when they decided to drop the A-bomb on Hiroshima. Recent guest speakers at the Grove from the current White House alone include Dick Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld, Karl Rove and George W. Bush himself. In years past, Ronald Reagan, Bill Clinton, Henry Kissinger and Richard Nixon are all known to have attended the festivities. A highlight of the Bacchanalia is the famed “Cremation of Care” ceremony, where hooded priests burn a coffin-like effigy in front of a giant stone statue of an owl. There's also a Shakespearean drag ensemble called the “High Jinks” and the “Low Jinks” comedy festival involving masked performances by giddy, inebriated politicians. “t is the most faggy goddamn thing that you would ever imagine,” Nixon later remarked. Few outsiders have ever violated the Grove's heavily guarded perimeter. The most famous infiltration occurred in June 2000, when Alex Jones, a conspiracy theorist and Texas-based radio host, penetrated the camp with a video camera, an episode hilariously captured by British writer Jon Ronson in his 2002 book, Them: Adventures With Extremists. Jones managed to film the “Cremation of Care” ceremony, obtaining a few minutes of grainy footage of a giant stone owl surrounded by men in bright robes, the flames from their torches reflected in a lake, their ominous chanting half-obscured by the croaking of unseen bullfrogs. “The global elite that attend the Grove have their fingers on the nuclear launch codes,” Jones later said. “Is it not therefore in the interest of the American people and the wider world that the veil of secrecy which shadows the activities inside the Bohemian Grove be brought to light and exposed for what it is?” In an unprecedented journalistic coup, OC Weekly recently tracked down a former employee of the Bohemian Grove. One of the few insiders to ever pull the veil back from this nefarious conspiracy to enslave mankind, the Orange County resident begged us not to identify her by name, out of fear, we presume, that she'd be eliminated by the secret society's shadowy leaders. Tell us something that only someone who's been inside the Bohemian Grove would know. That owl [statue] is plastic. It's not a rock. It's like what they have at Disneyland. Even the rocks around the lake have speakers inside them. The noise from these mysterious frogs that don't seem to get squashed on the road are really speakers. They aren't frogs. You go to chase the frog, and it just disappears and the noise comes from somewhere else. Also, they have hotels nearby where hookers stay, and members leave the camp to see them. It's not something that the club organizes or condones, but it happens every year. When did you first learn about the Bohemian Grove? When I was a kid, my best friend told me about it. Both her dad and grandfather were members. She told me her dad would come home from the Grove every summer with funny stories about the place. They had all these musicians up there. She said it was basically band camp for big boys, a summer camp full of adult musicians and actors. Her family was really artistic. These were people I had grown up around. They used to have these singing parties all the time. How did you end up getting a job there? I went to college in San Francisco and didn't know anybody up there. I met this girl from OC who said she worked at this private men's club in San Francisco. I asked which one and she said the Bohemian Club, and I just laughed. It was such a coincidence! It's actually called the City Club, but it's Bohemian. I asked my friend if they were looking for any help and ended up getting a job there. I was just trying to pay for college. I didn't tell anybody except my friend that I already knew about the Bohemian Grove. During the off-season, there isn't anything happening at the Grove, but a lot of members hang out at the City Club. They can get keys and go up to the camp, but if they bring female guests, they have to be off the grounds by 9 or 10 p.m. I ended up working at the Grove that summer. I rented a place nearby because they do not provide housing for female employees, except managers and interns. Guerneville is a gay resort town. Everybody was really friendly there. I made a ton of money because I was working really long days. I'd show up at 7 a.m. and work until 8 at night. I worked in the Dining Circle. There was tons of produce and all the liquor in the world, lots of wine. If someone said, “Hey, we're out of Maker's Mark,” we'd send over another bottle, or 10. Experts say the Bohemian Grove is a secret society where world leaders plot global domination. How exciting was it to be around global plot-hatchers all summer? It was just a bunch of rich guys hanging out and partying. You have all these different camps inside with different names like a fraternity system. They have a camp for the guys who do the lighting for the Cremation of Care, one for the entertainers, one for guys from Stanford. The Cremation of Care is the kickoff ceremony and has the same basic script every year. Care is a great big monster and the guys try to burn Care so they can party for three weeks. And Care says, “You can't kill me; I'll be back in three weeks!” and at the end of three weeks they have to go back to their jobs and Care returns. Other than that, they all just spend weeks getting drunk and playing music, drinking at the bar. It's not as important as everyone makes it sound. You're working for a bunch of old guys, and occasionally you recognize one from television or whatever. Some famous musician might be playing at one of the camps, and they'd listen for a while and then fall down drunk and pass out. There are always guys walking around pissing on trees. They have these plays where the men dress up like women and entertain the other men. Some of this stuff sounds pretty homoerotic. Does the club allow gays to join? Sure, of course. It's an artistic club, so that'd be hard to avoid. There are members who are less accepting of this than others. But in general, it's like any club where you are asked to pay high dues. You're going to have more old white guys than anyone else, but there are all kinds of other races represented too. It has about 2,700 members. You can't get wait-listed to join until you're 21 years old, but there's a 15- to 20-year waiting list. There's a newsletter sent out on who wants to join, and if three people don't want you, you have to reapply. The reason people are so suspicious about the Bohemian Grove is they don't know anything about it and the members are really secretive. Journalists can't join the club. And they don't respond to any of the rumors because they don't want the attention. There are always these protesters outside chanting “Racist, sexist and anti-gay,” and that's just ridiculous. As far as the club not allowing women to join, I don't have a problem with that either. If you threw 3,000 women into the forest with all these guys pissing on trees for three weeks, it'd be chaos. |

McCain Bill Is Lethal Injection For Internet Freedom Republican Senator John McCain has introduced legislation that would fine blogs up to $300,000 for offensive statements, photos and videos posted by visitors on comment boards, effectively nixing the open exchange of ideas on the Internet, providing a lethal injection for unrestrained opinion, and acting as the latest attack tool to chill freedom of speech on the world wide web. http://www.prisonplanet.com/articles/december2006/151206mccainbill.htm ******** NEWS ********* | ||||
| Doctors participating in a public health insurance reject report over “renting demonstrators” |
16.12.2006 14:33 clock![]() Berlin (strip packing). The cash-medical Federal union (KBV) resists a report, it for a protest action before the realm tag building “renting demonstrator” began. The “picture” - newspaper had reported, a host meal service had placed 170 of the 200 participants of the demonstration on Thursday for 30 euro daily lump sum per “demonstrator”.
KBV chairman Andreas the charcoal burner explained it on Saturday in Berlin, not a demonstration, but the conclusion of a PR-campaign against the health reform concerned. Approximately 170 persons would have developed and on its shoulders would have carried 400 meters long clothes with thousands physician smocks. These coworkers were engaged by an external Dienstleister for the setting up clothes. This communicated always in such a way the KBV by press release and in the Internet. The report the “picture” - newspaper is thus untrue. The KBV reserves itself press-legal steps against the newspaper. On the nails 4500 smocks hung according to KBV data. Altogether the physicians would have donated 12,000 smocks. These are to go to hospitals to Benin into west Africa. With the smock action the KBV wanted to show symbolically that today already more the than 12,000 German medical profession live and work abroad, because they find there better conditions of work than in Germany. In the course the health reform threaten an intensified drift of young physicians abroad. (strip packing) For People ...

On this date in 1773, Bostonians emptied the holds of three tea-bearing British ships into Boston Harbor to protest the British tax on tea imported to the colonies. A group of men led by Samuel Adams disguised themselves as Native Americans and dumped some 18,000 pounds of tea into the water. As punishment, Parliament passed the Intolerable Acts, which, among other things, effectively closed the Massachusetts port until restitution for the spoiled tea would be made. This served to further unite the colonies in their opposition to the British. The Boston Tea Party was one of a series of events that led to the American Revolution.

'INDEPENDENT' SCIENCE ...
... WITH CASH ON THE HIP ... Hello all ... One of the major themes I have been emphasising all these years is the way the world is manipulated and events come to pass because 'different' sides are controlled, or at least heavily influenced, by the same force. This happens throughout the system in politics, business, banking, media, etc., and we had still more confirmation this week that it happens in 'science'. It emerged that Sir Richard Doll, a world-renowned cancer specialist, was being paid for 20 years as a consultant by the notorious Illuminati operation, Monsanto, while not revealing this fact in his 'independent' reports.
It was Sir Richard who is noted for making the connection between smoking and lung cancer, but he also spent two decades investigating potential cancer causes in the chemical industry while being paid $1,500 a day by one of the biggest chemical corporations. Monsanto was a producer of the horrific Agent Orange, the lethal herbicide and defoliant used by American forces in the Vietnam War for ten years up to 1971. It contained dioxins that have caused great damage to health among the civilians and troops exposed to it. As a result, lawsuits were filed against producers like Monsanto and Dow Chemical with American veterans winning $180 million in compensation in 1984. Australian, New Zealand and Korean victims also won compensation, though not the Vietnamese.
Studies indicate the increased risks of cancer and genetic defects from exposure to dioxin, but Sir Richard Doll wrote to a Royal Australian commission investigating the Monsanto Agent Orange to say there was no evidence that this was the case. He did not mention that every day he was pocketing $1,500 from Monsanto. Documents revealed this week also show that Sir Richard Doll was paid $15,000 by the Chemical Manufacturers Association, Dow Chemical, another Agent Orange producer, and the British chemical giant ICI. For this money he produced an 'independent' review that largely dismissed claims that the vinyl chloride used in plastics could be linked to cancers, apart of those of the liver. The World Health Organisation challenges that assertion, but it suited his paymasters and they used his report to defend the chemical's safety for a decade. Sir Richard died last year, but his contract with Monsanto is filed at the Welcome Foundation library archive. It began on May 10th 1979 and was extended with improved terms on April 29th 1986. 'During the one-year period of this extension your consulting fee shall be $1,500 per day', it says. As late as 2000, Sir Richard was a witness for Solutia, a spin-off from Monsanto. What we have here is one small glimpse at the corruption and conflicts of interest that consume much of what is bravely called 'science'. Of course, as in all these professions, even politics, there are some genuine people trying to do what they believe to be right with ethics and honesty. But wherever dollar signs appear ethics have a fight on their hands.
The obsession with money and, through that, control, is at the heart of all corruption and the Illuminati corporations know that. They are well aware that they will not have to look far to find a 'scientist' to say what suits their stance so long as the cheque is in the post. The more 'renowned' the scientist, the bigger the cheque - and the more effective the contribution to misleading public perception. The idea most of the time is not even to 'win' the argument over the effect of a chemical or GM food or whatever because they know that on facts and commonsense the odds are stacked against them. The arguments are also often complex and full of science-speak and neither position is able to land the deciding punch until the affects have become clear in the consequences for public health. Their primary goal is to throw confusion and conflict into the 'debate', to muddy the waters and prevent any clear presentation of the facts. This is done by finding 'scientists' who are willing to put the argument that suits the corporations and, although it may have no validity, it dilutes the clarity there would otherwise be. In this way, warnings about the potential dangers of a food additive, sugar substitute and all these other chemical concoctions are ignored for years, even decades, before unmistakable heath effects become obvious. By then, it's too late for those who have suffered or died. The corporations use their on-the-take 'scientists' to counter the warnings and persuade government agencies that there is no 'proof' that a substance will be harmful. In any sane society, a company would have to provide unquestionable proof that the chemical was not harmful before entering public use and this would clip the power of the chemical giants overnight. But it is not just the 'scientists' who are for sale, so are many within the very government agencies that are supposed to police the corporations.
Monsanto headquarters I have been in St Louis for the last week at a Federal Court to defend the rights to my books and this is the major Masonic city that is home to Monsanto. The influence of this corporation on American and global life is vastly underestimated. Monsanto is the producer of the sugar substitute, aspartame, which was manipulated through the Food And Drug Administration 'safety checks' by Donald Rumsfeld, then CEO of Searle Pharmaceuticals. He used his connections in the Reagan-Bush administration after 1979 to ensure that aspartame, a brain cell-scrambler, entered public use despite the independent research challenging its safety.
Monsanto is also the corporation behind genetically-modified food and they have been using the same techniques to impose this upon the world. Its propaganda machine counters the evidence about the dangers with a host of handsomely-paid white coats turning simple debate into incomprehensible complexity that the public and politicians cannot understand. They also use the media and their song-sheet singers in government to target those genuine scientists acting in the public interest. Dr Arpad Pusztai was considered the world expert on GM foods with more than 270 published studies relating to the subject. He was working at the Rowett Institute in Aberdeen, Scotland, when he was interviewed for a World in Action television documentary on August 10th 1998. What he said was to destroy his career because of the reaction of Tony Blair and Bill Clinton, puppets of Monsanto and the biotech industry.
Dr. Pusztai told the programme that rats fed on certain GM potatoes had suffered stunted growth, damage to the immune system, and their liver, heart and other organs got smaller. He later said this was also the case with the brain, but he had not mentioned that in the TV interview to avoid being 'alarmist'. However, he did say this of GM food: 'If I had the choice I would certainly not eat it'. On the evening the interview was broadcast, Dr. Pusztai was congratulated for his contribution by Professor Philip James, Director of the Rowett Institute. The next morning the Institute issued a press release highlighting that a 'range of carefully controlled studies underlie the basis of Dr. Pusztai's concerns'. Forty eight hours later, he was suspended and ordered to hand over all his data. His research team was disbanded and he was threatened with legal action if he spoke to anyone on the subject. Even his personal assistant was banned from talking to him and he was alerted to an Institute press release that his contract was not being renewed. He wife was also sacked. Dr. Pusztai was to have two heart attacks and his wife was put on permanent medication for high blood pressure. The Rowett Institute lied and lied about the reasons for their disgraceful treatment of Dr. Pusztai, as was later proved. The truth was that his comments on GM food, coming from such a world-class source, had threatened to blow apart the Monsanto claims about the safety of GM. He had to be destroyed with the usual vindictiveness. Dr. Pusztai is certain that his demise was caused by Tony Blair. He said that the day after the World in Action programme, two phone calls were made by Blair's office to his boss, Philip James, and the next day he was fired. Dr. Pusztai said he was told by a senior manager at Rowett that Blair's intervention was prompted by a phone call from the United States President Bill Clinton.
'Look Tony, you do what I say and I do what they say, got it?' The story was confirmed by Professor Robert Orskov, one of Britain's top nutrition researchers who worked for Rowett for 33 years. He said he was told that phone calls went from Monsanto to Clinton and then to Blair. 'Clinton rang Blair and Blair rang James', he said. 'There is no doubt he was pushed by Blair to do something. It was damaging the relationship between the United States and the United Kingdom because it was going to be a huge blow for Monsanto.' Another eminent researcher, Stanley Ewen, said that he was told the same story by another senior figure at Rowett: 'That conversation is sealed in my mind. My jaw dropped to the floor. I suddenly saw it all - it was the missing link. Until then I couldn't understand how on Monday, Arpad had made the most wonderful breakthrough and on Tuesday it was the most dreadful piece of work and rejected out of hand.' The viscous campaign against Dr. Pusztai was as coordinated as it was callous. Reports attacking him were published by the Illuminati Royal Society - the scientific establishment exposed in my books - and by the Science and Technology Select Committee of the House of Commons with its pro-Blair majority. Cabinet Minister Jack Cunningham, another Blair lap-dog, condemned Dr. Pusztai's 'wholly-misleading results' and said that all GM food in Britain would be safe to eat. How could an idiot like Cunningham know that, compared with the world's leading authority? It has nothing to do with truth or protecting the public. It is about doing the will of the paymasters.
Lord 'Biotech' Sainsbury The Blair government is one of the most corrupt in all British history, as is the Bush cabal in the United States, and both have fundamental ties to the biotech industry. In its first two years in office, GM food companies met British government officials and ministers 81 times. Blair's unelected Science Minister, Lord Sainsbury, who resigned last month, is a dedicated supporter of GM foods. When he was appointed, he held large shareholdings in the biotech companies, Diatech and Innotech, which were placed in a 'blind trust' so that he could not knowingly benefit from decisions he made in government,. Oh please. Did he forget he had them then? He made £20 million in profit from Innotech and such wealth allowed him to be the biggest single donor to Blair's Labour Party with payments of more than £16 million since it came to power.
The Bush government and its related agencies have also been awash with Monsanto-connected place-people who have been appointed to positions that benefit its operations worldwide. It's real simple. The corporations control the government and the regulatory agencies and thus dictate the policy in line with their agenda. This is why governments constantly make decisions that favour the corporations whatever the evidence put before them. The evidence doesn't matter because the deal was done from the start and the 'public debate' was just to kid the people they actually live in an open society. The system is set up to reward the corrupt and destroy those who are not. This is how the manipulators work to stifle dissent and mislead the public. You want to advance your career? Okay, do what we want and you'll be fine. Speak your mind and we'll finish you. Look at Professor James, the head of Rowett, who felt the wrath of dictator Blair after Dr. Pusztai's television interview. At the time he enjoyed good relations with Blair and had been chosen to head the planned Food Standards Agency. But that changed after Dr. Pusztai made his comments. 'You destroyed me', James told Pusztai. What has actually been destroyed by the corporate-political nexus is the integrity of what we call 'science'. We know that 'scientists' officially employed by the corporations will say whatever suits their masters, but clearly many 'independent' scientists are also on the pay roll and this is far more significant because 'independent' research carries far more weight in the public mind. The exposure of Sir Richard Doll is a warning to everyone who believes in the credibility of 'scientists' when they make their pronouncements about what is good for us. Corruption is a state of mind, a fundamental absence of integrity, and this plague is an epidemic throughout the system - 'science' included. ***

Americans use TV, other media 10 hrs a day: CensusBy David Alexander WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Americans will spend nearly 10 hours a day watching television, surfing the Internet, reading books, newspapers and magazines and listening to music this year, the U.S. Census Bureau said on Friday. In its "Statistical Abstract of the United States: 2007" released on Friday, the agency also noted that Americans drink about a gallon of soda a week, along with a half gallon each of milk, bottled water, coffee and beer. All of which may help explain another figure in the pages of the 1,300-page book of tables and statistics: About two-thirds of Americans are overweight, including one-third of whom are obese. The information in the abstract is culled from Census Bureau surveys and from data collected by other government agencies, industry and trade groups and private organizations. Industry groups provided the information on media usage. They projected Americans will spend an average of nearly 4 1/2 hours daily in front of the television in 2006, or 1,555 hours in all. Americans will spend another 2 1/2 hours listening to radio and a half hour listening to recorded music. The rest of the nearly 10 hours is spent reading newspapers, looking at the Internet, playing video games and reading other media. Projections indicate per capita time spent with the Internet will exceed time spent reading newspapers for the first time this year. Americans spend about a half an hour per day on each activity. Some 97 million Internet users sought news online in 2005, 92 million purchased a product and 91 million made a travel reservation, the figures show. Thirteen million created an Internet blog.Other tidbits from the statistical abstract:- The Census Bureau projects U.S. population will grow to 420 million by mid-century, versus nearly 300 million today.-- Of nearly 950,000 people who immigrated to the United States in 2004, 175,000 were from Mexico, 70,000 from India, nearly 58,000 were from the Philippines and 51,000 were from China.
-- The largest number of political refugees admitted as permanent residents in 2005 came from Cuba, with 32,555. Bosnia-Herzegovina was second with 13,298, and Ukraine third with 12,421. More political refugees were admitted from Cuba than from all of Asia and the Middle East, which had a total of 32,009.-- U.S. airport screeners confiscated 9.4 million lighters in 2005 while searching 738.6 million passengers.-- Nearly half of college freshmen in 2005 had a high school grade average of A, the top mark. In 1970, only 20 percent of college freshmen had top marks in high school.-- A little more than half of U.S. households owned stocks and mutual funds in 2005.-- Americans had 278 million debit cards in 2004 and used them for 22.2 billion transactions involving more than $1 trillion.-- The average tax refund in 2003 was $2,154, compared with $1,802 in 2000. The average tax bill due at the time of filing was $3,499, compared with $4,406 in 2000.-- Americans bought 2.1 billion pairs of imported shoes in 2004. 12
