I've spent another vacation in Ukraine. But would you let yourself be cut off from the Internet?
I don't thinks so

At the very beginning, I want to assure it's not an ad, just the review.
I bought the SIM card ( with no cash on it) for
15 hrn/грн/grn
The installation was very simple, just put the SIM, launch, enter the PIN and it works.
In order to check you balance enter
*111# and your call button.
To my surprise it also shows how many megabytes you have on your пакет ( package ).

In order to order your Internet enter
*124#And than you choose something with the Internet in it
I bought package of 100 MB for
39 hrn/грн/grn
Do you want to call to your homeland?
Enter
*143*4# and follow the prompts.
And now you can call abroad for
1,99 hrn/грн/grn per minute. Don't forget this offer costs
6 hrn/грн/grn
To send an SMS to life

mobile from the Internet go to: (you can send up to 3 per day)
https://www.life.com.ua/sms/smsFree.html?locale=en On Life's

homepage I found the Coverage Map
http://www.life.com.ua/index.php?area=mylife&lng=en&page=4-8To be honest with you, it's bullshi*t.
During my month-stay in Ukraine I experienced bunch of places with no coverage at all.
(I live in Poland and I don't expect EDGE/3G everywhere, I'm a realist)
Even though, it wasn't much of a problem, empty-coverage spots were not so big, max half an hour during commuting.
And how to recharge, you can buy a recharge card from seller on every corner ( they aren't hard to notice)
Life

has a great adventage. If you go to Ukraine with your friends I suggest you should buy few SIM cards because after a recharge you get 100 free SMS/TEXTs and unlimited minutes to Life

numbers ( limited by period). You can find details here
http://www.life.com.ua/index.php?area=mylife&lng=en&page=1-1I'd be happy to read some comments
EDIT:I forgot...to use the Internet you have to set your GPRS access point. In order to do so dial
*124# and then choose
NASTROYKI. You'll get a text right away ( I did it at night )
