This is my world

I have more than hundred characters I invented during my life.
Most of them have not their own written story, but all of them appear here and there in my albums.
The oldest (and eldest) ones are The Four.
I invented them when I was 9 years old; I was playing all alone in our house, during the beautiful holiday in Pantelleria.
The first one was Solo, the savage boy.
He represents the Freedom, but also the Great Solitude. He's the youngest, he's only 7... but he's the head of the group, even against the vitually endless powers of Scarpa d'Oro.
The real opposite of him was the second born, Lino, older than him of one year, but more weak and less self-confident. Kind, educated, sweet... The strog opposition of personalitlies is a feature I love to use.
The third one was an idea bubbling in my mind those days: a boy who could work miracles, with a pair of amazing Golden Shoes; a kid, only 12 years old, but also a gentleman thief, naturally gifted, smart, ironic and with a powerful memory. He had no name, he was just Scarpa d'Oro.
Then, the last one was me, at that age I had in that period. She's Simona.
She's the mix of all them, and she's a girl.
...........
Another character you can see a lot of times is Fortuna. I known also as Numero1 (#1).
She's 15 years old, the same age I had when I invented her.
She's a genetically engeneered girl, but also a failed experiment.
Her life is an endless runaway: she escapes from the same people who created her, who want oly to study her, to change her... they can kill her, as a failed product.
She was projected to become very smart, loyal, obedient, a perfect product, maybe a soldier... but when she born, she was too different from the project: she could fly...
Not perfect as they wanted, with odd powers, and a strange interest in art...
Doctors and military organizations can't stare it...
So, she flies away, lives here and there, and dreams the day they stop chasing her.
............
More or less in the same period, I invented another character you can easily reckognize: a HalfDevil known as Nènika.
She's 15 years old too.
Her father kidnapped her Mom, a witch, and so Nènika born. He killed her Mom when she was very little, but, as a halfbreed, he has the power of a human and of a devil. Plus, her mother gave her a necklace. A magic gift nobody can steal from her and that only Nènika can use.
She fights to go out of Hell, and then, when she emerges from the Averno, meets a strange angel... An angel with human feelings...
This angel is Kaèl. I invented it when I was 17, so he has this age... well, his real age is 2017, but he seems a boy.
His story was not created to melt with Nènika's but I decided to do it: Kaèl had lived a period as a human. Now, an angel again, he still can love as a boy can do.
Coming to kill her, Kaèl spares Nènika...
Devils start to attack them both...
.............
Loving so much putting together opposite characters, I invented another strange couple.
The all violet and yellow cardinalwise dressed girl, La Maga, and the four winged girl, Ako.
La Maga is a thief. She has strange powers, but it's normal adn usual in her world.
The fact is she can't say how old she is, and why she has to steal... he lives it as a destiny she can't fight against. No memory of parents, family... or childhood.
She meets Ako (11 years old), the half-Hevirnak and half-Valianti girl. When kids are 11, in her mother's tribu, boys and girls have to leave their family...
Ako has powerful senses, she can see very far, and she also can guess exactly where her family is, even if they're very far.
Her father, a Valianti artisan, gave her the wings on the back, like angels; her mother, a Hevirnak worrior, gave her the wings under arms.
In their world, four wings mean The Goddess, so Ako is seen as a living sacred icon...
But not from La Maga.
They decide to live together... and Ako will help La Maga rid the mistery behind her and her origins.
La Maga seems to be always bored, with no light in life; Ako, instead, is full of positive energies and life.
Dreams are the key.
............
Some years ago a Princess born.
Her name was Ran Tia Noa, of the great and noble Kingdom of Amphitia, the State-city, the core of waters.
Once a day the volcano destroyed Amphitia... only Ran survived, and now she waits all her world coming back again... She does not know that too many years had passed from that sad day. She does not know she is now a 'Bambina dei Boschi' (a Woods' Child).
She can't die, even if she stays in her territory.
Her life is a day after another, hunting and fishing, and waiting for someone of her people returning back form the ashes.
She can breath underwater, as all the Royal family can do...
Her land is made of aquatic ruins, gardens, pools, woods, libraries... and no memories longer than 30 years.
Virtually she can live forever... forever waiting.
............
In 2008, during my internship, I invented Maia Withe-Thradt, the Janin.
A Janin is the opposite of a ninja: not good training, no rest, ignored individual skills...
Janins can do strange things: Maia, for an example, can hang on a wall like SpiderMan, but only with the power of Will...
Janins are almost slaves, hated and used by anybody. They're not considered as humans, but only tools to use, and to trash away when they're broken or useless.
Maia is a Janin, so she can do a lot of things, thanks the Janin mass-training. She can follow and repeat word by word two different speechs she hear together. She can write two texts with both hands...
But this is not a normal school, you know.
She's 30 years old, but seems a child.
Janins have only to obey, to follow their 'kapò' and to execute without thinking.
Maia dreams about a different life...
She knows her family; they gave her to the Janins, as they did with her brother Gagaku. She knows only his name, and she knows he's a Janin too... but they never met.
They both have no interest in meeting each other.
No friendship, no love. That's a Janin life.
.................
About the last four girls, I made also a cross-over. Each one was made to have a personal story... But if the idea is good, why not?
So Ran, Nènika, Maia and Fortuna met in Amphitia. After some terrible fights, they decide to live together, calling themselves the Amphitia Army.
..................
A common feature about the most of my characters is the fact they don't grow up as the others near them.
All of my creatures seem very very younger that they really are.
A great example of this is Comba, a very old character; I invented her when I was 12/14.
She was born as my own version of Mowgli or Tarzan: a female daughter of the jungle.
Then, when the story went on (it means that time passed for me), this character gained in meanings: she was not only a female version of a savage boy.
She had a family, in a village in Africa. She was adopted.
In this village, she was considered not a human, but little more than a pet. So she has been living between the jungle and the primitive civilization for all her childhood.
Only when she was 14, the elder of the village admitted her to the ceremony of the adult age, a strange ritual... Comba felt only fear of all this, nobody told her what was going on...She escaped the ceremony and nobody called her back. So now she's no more a child, and she's not yet a woman.
..........................
There are also some charcters I took by other people: I only changed them a bit.
Do you know Knuckles the Echidna?
Well. After reading a hundred of fan-fictions, I invented my own 10 chapters; then, after drawing him in 100 scenes, I tried to transform him in a human, taking ideas from an Italian fan-fiction, "Arma a doppio taglio" (something as "Double cut weapon").
In this story all Mobians were changed in humans, all their memories were erased, and they were sent on Earth. The only one spared of the lack of memory is Amy Rose. She was the main character in the original fan-fiction. But in mine is Knux the one.
He's the prototipe of the strong and honest man; I imagine him far from being ignorant. He has a bad temper but it's only because, as a Guardian, he had always been alone, always on duty, isolated from the normal life. My version of a hero.
........................
My last series are all only a brand new matter.
It's the first time in my life I invent an entire world and a lot of characters inspired directly to the real world and to persons really existed.
I'm talkng about the Album I named "Fantastica Italiana". This title comes from the mixing up of the "Symphonie Fantastique" (by Berlioz) and "L'Italiana" (by Mendelssohn).
After studying these two great authors, I decided to show my great admiration in the best way I can.
The fact such opposite personalities had met and could be friends, it's the spring who had gave me the start.
I put together a lot of characters, mixing up real musicians, portraiting them, and their creatures, squeezing time so 200 years can live together, and making all them follow main character's destiny.
........................
