Arsenal set for pre-season tour of Nigeria - Arsenalinsider | Arsenalinsider.com

“Never doubt that a small group of
thoughtful, committed citizens
can change the world. Indeed, It
is the only thing that ever has. ”
Up Gunners.
Haters, start your hating. Here
goes:
OK, so we’ve lost to what is
arguably the best Tottenham
team we’ve seen since the dark
ages. We’ve also been forced to
realize that we need all our best
players and a great chunk of luck
in order to beat Man U away.
We’ve learnt that our defensive
game is not up to scratch and we
have realized that our lack of
leadership on the field can cause
us to fall through in games
where we should be able to win
comfortably. During the transfer
season we have also seen how
our wage cap has limited our
options when it comes to
strengthening the squad with
super talent.
But at the same time there have
been signs of better times ahead.
Our CL record is so far very, very
good and after the Liverpool
debacle our home form has been
decent. We’ve seen new, exciting
players emerge and I think we
can all agree that players like
Frimpong, Coquelin and Oxlade-
Chamberlain all have great
futures ahead of them.
Our new signings have been
decent. Not great but decent.
Arteta has added experience and
passing ability to the midfield,
Yossi has shown great fighting
spirit and Mertesacker has been
pretty good in a defence that, at
times, have been falling apart
around him.
For me, Gervinho is probably our
most exciting signing. He has so
much talent and I for one am
sure that given some time he will
become a very valuable asset.
We’re not as strong as we were
last year, not yet anyway but
there are positives and with time
these positives will start to have
an impact on our season. What
Arsenal needs now is time and
the trust of their supporters.
We’re obviously in a bit of a mess
at the moment. That’s clear for
anyone to see. But let’s put
things in some kind of
perspective. As always it is
important to manage wins over
the teams you should beat and
win at home when playing the
teams that equal or surpasses
you in strength.
We will turn this around. We
won’t win the PL but we will turn
it around. When you look at it,
how many points have we really
dropped? I would say:
Newcastle away – 0 points
dropped
Liverpool home – 3 points
dropped
Man U away – 0 points dropped
Swansea home – 0 points
dropped
Blackburn away – 3 points
dropped
Bolton home – 0 points dropped
Tottenham away – 1 point
dropped
7 points is not that much. It will
be tough but if we are consistent
against teams we should beat
and win our home games
against the big ones we will be
back in the top 4 come May. With
a few signings in the next
transfer window and some
better performances from some
of our underachievers (Ramsey,
Arshavin, Walcott) we can get
there.
With Arsene. Hopefully for at least
another ten years.
I recently came across an article no social networking. While reading it, it was apparent that in this part of the world we'r more of "working the net" than the actual networking. Either way no be our fault sha, as we never de organised rich dat level.
"I know i crossed the line a few days ago though the timing was't perfect, i hope i'v given a good reason to be left alone. Its time to start over. I hope never to come across someone like that again."
Shhhhhhh
Shhhhhhh
Good morning everyone.
