Thăm vườn nhà ôn Phan vào một ngày cuối năm trong khí trời lành lạnh, tôi thấy mình đang lạc vào một chốn bình yên nơi chỉ có cỏ cây và gốm. Những lu to, bình nhỏ đứng ngồi lên nhau la liệt trong vườn. Tôi trộm nghĩ cỏ cây làm sao mọc được những nơi đồ gốm đang chiếm ngự. Vậy mà khi nhìn kỹ khu vườn đồ gốm của ôn, tôi thấy những thân cây cỏ mảnh mai len qua những kẻ nứt và miệng các lu, hụ, trách, bình, v.v. để vươn mình ra đón hơi xuân đang phảng phất trong đất trời.

After work, I rode home to pick my mom up. We headed for flower fair taking place in front of Phu Van Lau - the renowned pavilion facing Huong river. Many people were there when we arrived. My mom was interested in the thousands of pots of various flowers. She wondered how the farmers could sell all of them, but I know they will. Hue people live in harmony with nature, and they especially love flowers.
