A look
Saturday, 26. July 2008, 14:18:33
In a strange city, she came across a man with a lonely look. It was a sunny morning. It’s hard to believe that sunlight and warmth was so abundant in this city, especially when you were in winter. His anguished smile nearly melt her heart away when he showed his hand toward her for a social handshake. She couldn’t remember how the handshake was, but never would she forget his look - so deep and sorrowful.
She started to take a special interest in him, or maybe his look. He was a silent man with small eyes - the eyes which were very common among Chinese, Korean or Japanese people. When she looked into his eyes, the pain which long slept in her heart stirred and tortured her badly. She was completely lost in his solitary look.
She started to take a special interest in him, or maybe his look. He was a silent man with small eyes - the eyes which were very common among Chinese, Korean or Japanese people. When she looked into his eyes, the pain which long slept in her heart stirred and tortured her badly. She was completely lost in his solitary look.
“What makes his look so sad? Why is he so silent?” She questioned herself as she calmed down. No answer was heard. She didn’t notice since when his look began to follow her even to every of her dream.
She sometimes tried to ignore him but fail, and a wild thought came to her mind. She wanted to warm his look with love and touch his heart with her sincerity...
As his eyes were shining with love, the trace of pain also disappeared and left behind it a thin trail of joy. However, it wasn’t a fairy tale with happy ending as you might have read somewhere but a story of love. As you know, not many love affairs ended in happiness, and so did theirs...
“Anything good will come to an end... Learn to let go...” He consoled her and himself.

This type of story would have an universal appeal, not just in the Orient but accross the world. Lan, I would seriously quiry some magazine publishers who include what they call "fillers" to fill part of a page. I'll try to find some for you.
Only a little correction in grammer is needed, probably 3 or 4 words need to be in the correct case.
I'm excited for you.
Much brotherly and friendly love
Steve

You might explore this web site, Lan. I did not get a chance to explore it thoroughly, but through it you can get other ideas for publishing. You might check out several regional magazines, newspapers in your ares, etc.
I looked up your home town Hue on Google Earth. Your home town is very large. I was surprised. What part of this metropolis are you in?

I was surprised when you said my hometown was very large. Compare to other cities in Vietnam, Hue is very small and quiet. It's too small that some people say that you don't have to spend more than one day to discover it.
Wish you a great weekend!

It's been a long time since I have really written anything so I feel that I am rusty. But this is the type of writing I used to do.
If you would do this I would be very appreciative.
Thanks
steve
