Cactus in the sun
This photo was meant for you on your birthday but I don't know why I did not choose it to give you. I'm managing to live without you. It's hard, too hard that I now think it's impossible. Please give me more strength to forget you, dearest.

Beautiful photo but sad thoughts. Des is right. It looks like a star and things like this take time. Believe me, I know. There will always be the memories but, in time, the heartache goes away. Hugs to you.

I certainly hope that the "hard time" described in your writing is not a fact! You are too young and dear to have such love woes! IF TRUE, I tell you that such feelings of forlorn with slowly fade (not die) but be a memory of the happiness with little of the pain ( if you wish and pray for it), Lan! The cactus is amazing and beautiful. Thanks for sharing both the pic and the poem!

The day turned almost into disaster, Lan! When I got as far as Daytona Beach (40 miles) I found ungodly traffic, because of the auto racing going on there. It took me 45 minutes to bypass it. I did not get to working on the house until 1PM (after lunch of course) haha, I was able to get the towel racks up and mow the lawn. How was your day?

It is 11PM here. If it is such an nice sunny day and you are so nice then who could pass up a chance to be at your side! It will have to be in heart and mind however, as the funds for airfare have flown with the economy here in the USA! I had my retirement funds in the stock market and have lost about 30% in the last couple of months! Will you allow it to be in heart and mind, my fair lady!

3:30 PM hare now----just got back from going to yard sales with Grace and Heaven. Didn't find much to speak of myself ( a door lock for St. A and a 12X12X12 inch mirror cube to set stuff on, and some pig tales for the PC). Heaven was dying to eat at a BBQ place where we had eaten a couple of weeks ago. They called this week to say she had won the coloring contest she entered! She was very excited! haha
