Alien Shooter is a very interesting top-down shooter with plenty of action to keep you coming back for more! Here's a description from the site,
The endless darkness and the somber, long passages of a military complex have become the abode of evil, as thousands of blood-thirsty creatures fill its offices, storehouses and mysterious laboratories.
Your mission is simple: clear the base at all costs. You will be provided with explosives to help you gain access to the teleports from where thousands of pitiless creatures pour. A stationary gun will aid in the defense of the area. You have been granted access to the most advanced weapons technology money can buy. As you earn your pay, you can equip yourself with additional weapons in the arming area and biomechanical implants that will make your fighting abilities super human.
The alien invasion has begun, we have one chance, and that is to stop them cold in their staging area. Do not allow them escape this facility, you are our last hope. The fate of humanity now depends on you! -Sigma Team
well that pretty much sums up what the game is all about. You can also buy expansions for this game to add some extra fun. So, are you up to kill some alien scum?

Alien Shooter Vengeance is the sequel to alien shooter. In this version the aliens come back and they became smarter. Here's a excerpt of the game from their site (not the aliens site, though who knows..),

well, that should give you an idea of the game. This game is lots of fun, I had alot of fun with the demo. This game is very challenging, even in normal mode. You'll be fighting against hoards of aliens, about 100 aliens on every screen. This game is more than just about killing aliens, this game has some rpg elements and you can upgrade your weapons.
