Darkside: Arklight 2 is a pretty interesting shoot'em up ( or shmup for short) because it isn't like most shmups. As you can see on the side, instead of playing on a path, you play on a 3D planet, which is actually kinda cool. I've played a demo of this one quite a while ago and had quite alot of fun with it. Is it worth the $20.00 price tag? Hmm.. well, if it were like $15.00, I would say yes, but just try it out for your self. You can check this game out by following the link below:

Found on the Great Games Experiment, "There is Only WAR" is an arcade type shooter where fun is the first priority, not an after thought. According to the official description, " We took the main concept of Battle City, multiplied it by Contra’s speed and action intensity, and set the result in a colourful and detailed cartoon 3D world where physics applies, days interweave with nights and weather conditions add additional life and beauty to the game world.", well there you have it. The game La-Mulana is a very large and well thought out adventure game.La-Mulana has elements from the old msx systems of old like the scanner, the game cards and carts. These elements will help you solve the many puzzles that you will be coming across throughout the labyrinth. The environment in this game are well made by the creator, and the music was well made and fits the theme of the game. In my experience, I would have to say that this game is quite a challenge and they even said that it would take at least 60 hours to complete ( depending on the person) this game. If you want a game that has a classic look and feel, a great challenge and you can come back to play over and over again. This is the game for you. (click "read more" to view video in action)
