The first game in the series stars a boy named Noitu Love which according to the official site:

a young and talented boy, who's purpose it is in life to stop Darnacus and live up to his intercom girl Lori's expectations.The year is 2188. The city is protected by an organization called "The Peacekeepers League" and everything is swell except for that it's under attack! By a robot army lead by professor Darnacus Damnation!!

Noitu Love 2 Devolution
The second and more exciting Noitu Love in the series takes place a hundred years after the events of the first part. In this game you play as a girl named Xoda Rap and according to the site:

the Peacekeepers is Xoda Rap, and what she has to endure is a sudden resurrection of the Darn armies, but adding to that the city is locally turning to places of the past! What could be causing this? The year is 2288. The city is protected by an organization called "The Peacekeepers League" and everything is swell except for that it's under attack! By a robot army lead by professor Darnacus Damnation!! Or is it... ?
