wow! long time to enjoy! Ko-Ko is 18. they can live around 60+ years. My African Grey, Pepper, is 12. I had 2 cockatiels, Flapper, my little sweetie had congenital problems but I enjoyed his zest for life for over 2 years. I named my other opera site, /flapper1 for him. The litte lady I got for him decided to fly out the door. She was bitchy - lady birds usually are moody it seems. I would like another cockatiel, but moving in a year to Utah to be with my daughter who is also moving there before 1. Oct. 2014 when she and her husband start their asst prof jobs as clinical instructors at U of Utah. They are docs in Northwestern U in Chicago now. I will spend their last Chicago Christmas there with them for a week. They have a new baby, so sweet, makes 3 for them. cheers, kat
About bloody time! I love my River, but you need that kind of support and attention. Utah may be the damned end of the world, but family is worth the sacrifice.
