winter 62 still looks to be backyard on Grant Street in Gary before we moved to Fillmore. This house was cool, directly across the busy Grant Street from the Village Shopping Center. I watched that shopping mall go up from my front door when I was just 3. Remember my brother Don holding me at the door watching one time the construction of it. It was L shaped first before they made a third side on the north which ended up being Mont. Wards.
