you are welcome. I so miss it. Have just the area around my sidewalk decorated a bit. Back and hips keep me from doing a lot and hands and wrists too. Dang arthritis! Here is a snap of just off my porch steps:
That is Heather. This is a shot of the right side of the plot. have a 2nd heather to the left, didn't bloom quite as nice as this one did! I have tulips crocus and usually put in annuals but so late this year, may or may not for the front of the house. I don't go out there and look at it, and this spot I see out my door every time my dog goes in or out!
Well ,I can watch my garden from my veranda at the back of my house- Very convenient. That's where I usually take my one-year-old Chihuahua for a walk. Anyway you're right: flowers are there to be admired.
Wish they bloomed all year long. last year I put in petunias as well, but have so much dang arthritis i can't bend and move like before; last year was very hard so I didn't attempt it this year. A little late in the season now, anyway. it's been in 90s here and our air conditioner crapped out last Thursday. So I have a couple small fans going in my room, one for the caretaker, one for the birds!!! My dog is with me most of the time, a little ShihTzu named BabyDoll, had her since she was 6weeks old, got he the summer of 99. She goes out, turns around, comes back in cuz she wants the treat more that the potty! broke her of that, just started giving an occasional treat out of the blue! Have a great summer!
